you and peter fell asleep on each others arms, it was sunday though so you both had school in the morning

i woke up to peter rubbing my back "hey y/n/n" he said softly. i just groaned till he sat me up "tals we gotta go to school" he said
"i'm good" i said with my head buried in his chest
"your not good" he said laughing and shaking me a little
"fine" i said standing up then we heard a knock on the door
"hey just making sure you two are up, i'm bringing you to school" natasha said as she opens the door
"ok" me and peter said in unison as she left the room closing the door
"time to get ready" peter said as he opens my closet "i wanna wear your clothes there comfy"
"go right ahead" i said as i walked to the bathroom to put on my makeup

at your last period of the day you got a text from your mom
natasha: hey y/n/n can you stay at peters till like 5, tony's having one of his 'adult' partys
me: yeah that's fine
natasha: thanks baby i just don't want you getting into whatever there gunna argue about tonight
me: ok haha i'll see you later love you
natasha: love you too

"hey pete" i said walking down the hallway to peters locker
"hey tals" he said closing his locker
"i'm coming home with you today, you don't have an option" i said laughing
"sounds good to me but it's my patrol day" he said
"you can do that and i'll clean your room, it's most likely nasty in there" i said as we started walking out the doors
"your not 100% wrong" he said laughing as we walked to the subway,we sat down and he put his arm around me

"so when is that little trip of yours?" i asked
"next month, i'm actually really excited. tony payed for it all which is pretty cool" he started to ramble on but i didn't care "he's also giving me money to buy stuff like souvenirs, so i'll get you something and probs natasha and wanda oh and for sure may" i laughed at his cuteness "sorry i'm rambling" he said with a tight lipped smile
"no, i like it when you ramble in about something you really like, except for star wars" i said with a big smile
"what's up with you and not likening star wars" he asked laughing
"it's boring, i've lived more exciting events" i said
"alright then" he said with a little giggle as the subway came to a stop and we got off and walked the rest of the way to his apartment that was only a few blocks away

"HEY ARE YOU THAT SOLDIER GIRL?!" i heard someone scream not that far away from us
i grabbed peters hand not knowing what to do, i've never been noticed at the 'soldier girl'
"ANSWER ME MURDERER" the guy yelled again as me and peter walked a little faster
"HEY I KNOW YOU CAN HEAR ME I WANNA KNOW" more people started to stare at us as we were practically running
"NO IM NOT" i yelled back, lying of course because i don't wanna be know as the soldier girl
"THEN WHY ARE YOU RUNNING?" the man asked as peter scooped me up bridal style and bolted away to his apartment with my arms around us neck and my head in his shoulder and when no one was around he shot a spider wen and flew up right threw is already open window

"what the fuck" i said never actually been with peter when he was swinging
"are you ok" he asked looking at me
"yeah, yeah i'm fine" i said as my voice was shaking
"are you sure? you don't look fine, y/n" he said holding my shoulders
"i'm fine." i said as my eyes filled with tears
"natalia" he said softly pulling me in to hug me "it's okay" he said rubbing my head
"it's not though" i said sobbing into his shirt "i am just a murdering soldier, i'm not even a real soldier"
"no your not, tals your not a murder" he said softly
"but i am, that's why i was created, i was born to kill people, i have this stupid enhance body that i dont want," i said stuttering
"your body is fine, trust me" he said reassuring me "you weren't born to kill, it just happens to be that you were brain washed to kill, that's not your purpose" he said still hugging me
"than what is my purpose" i said quietly
"i don't know but-" i cut him off

"peter what's my purpose" i said as i pulled away from the hug " i can't have kids, i was brainwashed my whole childhood, i get called 'soldier girl' and murdered' for what?" i asked as he just stood there not knowing what to say "really peter what can i do" i said crying harder "i can't even protect myself by myself" i said
"you can protect your self, when have you not" peter said trying to calm me down
"i rely of other people to protect me," i said stuttering
"like who?" he asked confused
"YOU, natasha, bucky, tony, wanda for god sakes risked her life for me" i yelled a little which startled peter a little

"i- natalia i protect you- i protect you because i want to, you could protect yourself if you really had to, you- your instincts come in when your really in trouble" he said stuttering
"but i can't' i'm scared that i'll kill someone on accident because they were saving me" i said with my head down still crying

"like who?" he asked "no one would ever die protecting you, not any of the avengers"
"you could, easily, natasha would jump off a cliff for me, wanda already did almost die, tony would risk everything for me, pietro would take a bullet for me, and even steve, he would do anything for me and they would all succeed trying to save ME, WHY ME" i yelled the last part and falling to my knees, peter was a few feet away from me but he still managed to catch me before i hit the ground

"y/n natalia barnes, nothing will ever happen to any of us, not even you be sue we protect each other, we all have each others backs." he said as he wrapped his arms around me as i balled my eyes out on the floor of peters living room, and after a few minutes of crying so hard i passed out,
"natalia," he said lighting tapping my face "tals wake up" he said
i woke up a little as we went and put me in his bed and i fell asleep right away "i'll be back soon" he said as he left a note just in case saying that he'll be back soon
