**Hey if you guys like the story so far, leave a comment and vote at the bottoms of the chapter.**Emma didn't know how she was going to face Wade again. It was all so overwhelming and new to her, it wasn't easy for her to admit she had enjoyed herself, just thinking about it made her knees weak.
Wade had posted the schedule for the diner yesterday since she had officially started working, and she could see she was in for a long week, there was no way of avoiding Wade, but now she had to figure out what she was going to do about that fire that was burning in her stomach . Besides Cody she didn't really have any experience with men. She had not been allowed to date during in high school, her parents had absolutely prohibited her from dating. Truthfully Cody had been her first everything. But what she felt with Wade last night had never happened with Cody, even though they had been together for so long, the burning desire that has built up inside of her was something new and it was something that she was sure she wanted to experience again.
Emma welcomed the people walking into the diner, she had managed to avoid Wade so far. Maybe he was avoiding her to, she didn't really know what she would say to him anyway. Emma sat two girls at the at one of her tables."Welcome, My name is Emma , can I start you off with something to drink or any appetizer," Emma said pulling out her notepad.
"Just two waters, is Wade here?" One of the two blonds asked.
"He is-" Emma smiled at her even though she had cut me off.
"Tell him, Gwen is here," She dismissed Emma with a wave of her hand.
"Sure thing," Emma also choose to ignored her rudeness there was no point in entertaining people like her. Emma walked away and leaned on the kitchen window where she picked up orders that were ready, She watched Wade as he stood inside the kitchen with his back toward her, Emma watched as he moved boxes around, his muscles rippled under his shirt, she imagined her hands running down his back tracing every inch of it, at that moment Wade turned around and Emma cleared her throat to speak.
"A, um, Gwen is out here looking for you, boss." Emma spoke and quickly turned around and walked away to get the waters before he could say anything. Putting a boss at the end somehow made her think that she had put up some kind of boundary between them, which she didn't know if she really wanted it there.
Emma heard the kitchen door swing open, she knew it was Wade, but she was afraid to look at him again, she felt like a horny teenager. What was wrong with her, all she could think about was throwing herself at Wade and letting him have his way with her.
She heard as Wade greeted Gwen, "Gwen, Britney," was the only greeting her gave the two women.
"Wade, it been so long since I've seen you," Gwens voice went low, "How about we get together tonight, like old times."
"Gwen, I know we have known each other since high school, but please refrain from coming into my place of business and make such crude suggestions. This isn't high school anymore Gwen, and it's been years since we saw each other, no thanks, if that's all you need to get to work." Wade dismissed her quickly.
Gwen flew out of her seat, "Wade Montgomery Smith, why are you so mean to me," she shrieked and stomped her feet and crossed her arms.
"Gwen I don't have the time or patience for this, either order or leave," Wade turned and walked towards the kitchen.
Emma and Wade locked eyes as he walked towards the kitchen, his eyes softened and he gave her a soft smile and a wink as he disappeared.
Emma looked out the window from her room, she watched as Wade drove up and down the long drive way clearing fresh blanket of snow. She wore her little shorts and a large shirt of Cody's that she accidentally brought with her. She grabbed her bag of laundry, now that wade was out there she was going to take the chance to put her clothes to wash. She put her clothes in the washer and placed the basket in front of the washer, she turned quickly and ran into Wades brother, Bill.
