Emma had been planing to go into town to buy a few essentials it was getting dark outside and she didn't want to be out too late, there was more snow announced and she had to work tomorrow. She had gone out to warm up her car, but the car was stalled it wouldn't turn on, it broke down, suppose it's the cold weather, Emma helped Wade push the car into the garage to get out of the cold so that he could take a look under the hood, looks like it needs a new battery. Emma listened as Wade told her how corrosive the battery was and was probably the original battery that came with the car, he advised her to get a new battery.

Emma shifted from one foot to the other and nibbled at her finger nails, "Well shot, I can't really afford one right now," Emma said as Wade slammed the hood shut, Emma tried to remember how much cash she had left in her wallet. She knew it wasn't enough and it might be at least a month before she could get a new one. She was putting in her hours at the diner but she wanted to pay Wade the advance he has given her and she was getting paid bi-weekly. The diner had its regular customers but the tips weren't great, it was a small town after all.

"You can ride with me to the diner and I'll take you wherever you need to go," Wade gave Emma a smile. He wouldn't mind driving her around and they usually left for the diner around the same time, she looked cute bitting her nail.

Emma looked at his mesmerizing grin, he looked so cute smiling like that at her. He was so kind to her, always finding a solution to her problems and helping her out as much as he does. She knew she couldn't get used to it. How could Emma resist if every time she saw him she wanted to melt into a puddle on the floor, "Only If its not a bother, it might be a while before I can buy one." Emma leaned on the car, her back flat on the car, she leaned her head on the car, closed her eyes and gave a sigh of frustration, she hoped that nothing else would come up.

Wade watched Emma close her eyes, "Emma, can we talk about what happened the other night."

Emma's eyes flung open and she stood up straight, Wade turned around and whipped his hands on a rag he had on top of his tool box, "Do we need to, I mean-" Emma cut herself of, she looked at Wade back stiffen, she changed her mind instantly, maybe he regretted it, maybe he wanted to put boundaries. He seemed to have enjoyed himself though, she felt how hard he had gotten, how he had rubbed against her as she followed his rocking motion, Emma felt flustered and hot as she thought about it, "Ok, lets talk inside, I have something to say too."

Wade relaxed his shoulders and turned around to followed Emma inside, he didn't know why he said that, he wasn't even sure what to say, he did want to know how she felt about it. He also wanted to finish what they started, but he wasn't ready for this to turn into a relationship and he didn't want to hurt her, he just wanted to make it clear, that he very much wanted her, but no strings attached. Now how would he tell her that.

Emma made chamomile tea for herself and Wade grabbed a cold water bottle from the fridge.

Emma sat at the counter while wade stood across from her on the other side.

"I...umm...well" Wade started.

"Look, Wade, I'm not looking for a relationship, I don't want to complicate anything for anyone, I left my husband, while he was passed out drunk in the middle on the night, I'm trying to get away, as far as I can, and I'm thinking about New York. Might as well say everything now, I will be honest, so you can ask me anything and I don't want to cause problems with you and your brother," I paused and took a breath.

"Husband? Did he do that to you, as long as you're here with me you don't have to worry about him," Wade promised Emma, "Why would you cause problems between my brother and I?" Wade asked Emma, he needed and explanation before his mind went in the wrong direction. Her husband seemed like he was a bastard and no woman deserved to be treated that way. What about his brother, did something happen between them? His mind went back and forth, he couldn't think about that anymore, Wade took a deep breath and kept silent hoping Emma would take it as a cue to explain.
