*LILY POV*

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

Lily Evans woke up to see her alarm clock. 10.15! Shit! She scolded herself while getting ready. Then she dragged her packed trunk down the stairs into her living room. Her parents, John and Rose Evans were having breakfast.

 "Morning sunshine" they greeted her.

"Morning guys" Lily replied while applying butter to her toast.

"Are you excited Lily?" her dad asked.

Lily Evans was a 7th year witch that attended Hogwarts: School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. It was her last year and she was sad to leave because Hogwarts was her second home. Lily had 3 best friends.

Marlene McKinnon,  Mary Macdonald and Alice Fortescue. They have been friends with her since 1st year. Lily was grateful for them. They had been with her through hard times. Like when her EX-best friend, Severus Snape had called her a MUDBLOOD.

MUDBLOOD was a foul name that refers to muggle-born witch or wizards. Snape and his Slytherin friends call all of the muggle-borns that. Lily was heart broken when her friend called her that. He had apologized but Lily had had enough. She ignored him for 2 years now.

"I am, Dad. Though I am very sad about leaving this year" she told her father.

She ate in silence while thinking about Hogwarts when her older sister, Petunia walked in. Petunia is a muggle and she despised magic in any form. Petunia and Lily barely talked to each other. Thought Lily had tried to amend their relationship Petunia didn't want to even remain in the same room as Lily. It broke Lily's heart to see her sister be like this because when they were young, Petunia was her best friend. They did everything together but now they don't even look at each other.

"Come on Lily. Time to go" John Evans reminded his youngest daughter before lifting her trunk to his car.

"Coming, Dad. Bye Mum. Love you" She hugged her mother goodbye and said a quick good bye to Petunia but didn't get a response in return.

Lily got into her father's car and they drove off. Once at Kings Cross Station, John gave Lily a hug, wished her good bye and gave her her trunk.

Lily took her trunk and went between Platform 9 and 10. She ran straight into the barrier only to reveal Platform 9 3/4.

Lily looked around the platform in search of her friends. She felt a light tap on her shoulder. As she turned around she mentally groaned.
