Unsaid Feelings

Christmas Eve

Bongbong remained cold to Leni the following days. Although he still do all his obligations to her, she felt that he's still hurt by what she said. She totally understands why he acted this way, she was there when during the lowest point of his life where he was torn between giving his mom a second chance or not. His family broke his heart a million times before which cause his frustrations in many aspects of life. It causes trauma and pain to him that's why she understood where is he coming from.

"Daddy, mag grocery pala ako mamaya." Leni informed him while they were having lunch at his office.

"Anong oras?" He asked without looking at her.

"Mga 5. After office hours." She said.

He nodded.

"May ipapabili ka ba?" She asked after a while. Avoiding the awkward silence.

"Wala siguro." He said, coldly.

She suddenly cleared her throat, "Daddy, may suggestion nga pala ako."

"Para saan?" He asked.

"For Christmas sana." She hesitated. "Can we wear matching clothes? Kahit pare-pareho lang na color?"

"For what?" He frowned.

"Wala naman, mas maganda kasi kung coordinated outfits tayo nila Sandro, besides first Christmas natin to together." She explained.

"Huwag na. Maghahanap ka pa ng damit. Madami nang tao sa mall ngayon, makikipagsiksikan ka pa." He rejected.

"Okay." She nodded and continued to eat, sadly. She misses him terribly for quite a while now. It's been a week since he started to act cold towards her. She just wanted to hug him.

"Heeeyy!" Win suddenly entered the office together with Koko, Neil, and Migz.

"Uy! Tara kain!" Leni beamed at them.

"Wow! Lunch date sa office." Migz commented as they took a seat. Win got some chicken skin from Bongbong and Leni's food.

"Parang ewan to! Kunin mo na yung chicken, wag puro skin kukunin mo!" Bongbong glared at Win.

"Kumain na kasi kayo." Leni uttered. "Papakuha ako ng plates, sandali lang." She stood up and went outside to ask for utensils.

The boys looked at Bongbong as he ate quietly. "What?" Bongbong frowned.

"Bati na kayo?" Koko asked.

"Nino?" Bongbong asked.

"Bati na kayo ng misis mo?" Neil paraphrase.

"We're not fighting." Bongbong clarified.

The boys looked at him, unconvinced.

"Parang mga tanga to! Hindi nga kami nag-aaway ni Leni." Bongbong reiterated. "Mga chismoso talaga kayo."

"Pansinin mo na kasi si Leni, kawawa naman! Saka magpapasko na." Neil said.

"Oo nga naman pare. Nag sorry na nga sya sayo eh." Koko seconded.

"Hindi nya naman sinasadya." Migz uttered.

"Saka wag mong awayin misis mo, baka mapormahan yan ng iba. Madami pa naman nagkaka-crush dyan kay Leni. Balita ko gusto sya ni Mr. Mendoza." Win shared.

"Sino?" Bongbong frowned at Win. He didn't heard of that.

"You didn't know?" Win asked. "Si Mr. Mendoza yung isa nating client na may ari ng resort. He met Leni the other day. Mukhang nagandahan sa misis mo pare."

"How did you know na may gusto kay Leni?" Bongbong asked. He's eager to know some details.

"Iba yung nga titig kay Leni eh. Saka kiniss yung kamay ni Leni nung nakipag-shake hands. He asked her number too." Win shared.
