Catch-up

The next day was a dream come true as Bongbong and Leni's sweetness came back. Their friends noticed it as they were holding each other's hands always,talking to each other in person or through phone calls,they share laughter and smiles over small things. They're just so cute together and everyone can't help but to squealed.

"Aba! Mukhang balik na naman ang BongLeni love team ah!" Win remarked while eating lunch.

"Oo pansin ko nga rin eh! Parang nilalanggam na nga ako dito!" Koko agreed. They all laughed.

"At may sarili silang mundo! Nakakahiya naman tumabi sa dalawang 'to!" Grace retorted.

"Uy! Grabe naman kayo!" Leni blushed.

"Ay teka nga,sya nga pala Grace kumusta si Neil? Kailan daw uuwi?" Bongbong asked.

Neil is the boyfriend of Grace who's currently studying at the States. He's also one of Bongbong's closest friends because their families are business partners. Win,Koko,Migz,Neil,Bongbong and Grace are childhood friends because of their families. While Grace met Risa when they've became seat mate during their elementary days,soon then they treated each other as sisters.

"Ay oo nga pala pinapasabi nya sa sa next week daw flight nya pauwi. Vacation na nila eh!" Grace informed.

"Sa wakas! Makukumpleto na ulit tayo!" Win exclaimed.

"Oo nga pare! Uy sunduin natin si Neil sa airport tapos bonding tayo! Catch-up ba!" Koko suggested.

"Sige ba! Mukhang maganda yan!" Bongbong agreed. They were all excited to have Neil back after almost a year,they started to plan for their scheduled 'catch-up'.

They're excitedly waiting for Neil at the Airport. The boys couldn't contain themselves as they were sharing each other's plans to make Neil's vacation a memorable one.

"Hoy ang iingay nyo naman. Hindi kayo masyadong excited noh!" Risa interfered.

"Atsaka ano naman yang mga naririnig kong mga pupuntahan nyo,mangchi-chicks lang yata kayo eh!" Leni supported.

"Hindi ah!" The boys exclaimed simultaneously.

The three girls laughed. "Ang defensive nyo! Masyadong halata!"

"Si Neil!" Grace exclaimed.

They all searched for him and gave him a big smile while waving their hands. Neil waved back at them as he walked towards them. They noticed that he's with someone else whom they didn't knew.

"Hon! I miss you!" Grace exclaimed and immediately hugged Neil.

"Ay siya nga pala,this is Miro. He's my classmate/close friend,siya yung kinukwento ko sainyo na parati kong kasama dun sa States since we're both Pinoy. Sabi ko sabay na kaming umuwi para na rin you get to know him more." Neil informed them.

"Hi! I'm Miro,nice meeting you!" He politely introduced himself and shake their hands one by one. Leni was the last person whom he shook hands with,he was captivated by her smile. "Hi,I'm Miro. Nice to meet you... You are?"

Leni smiled wider as they were gazing each other. "Hi! I'm Leni. Nice meeting you." She blushed as she felt some butterflies on her stomach as soon as their palm touched each other. "Ay shet! Ang guwapo!" She thought.

Bongbong frowned as he saw Leni blushing over Miro. "Hoy! Tama na yan umalis na tayo!" He grabbed Leni's wrist and started walking,they followed.

They arrived at their favorite restaurant at exactly 12nn,Miro pulled a chair for Leni for them to sit beside one another but Bongbong immediately called Leni's attention before she take a seat.

"Leni dito ka maupo." Bongbong ordered pointing at the chair beside him.

"Ha? Hindi dito nalang ako. Okay lang." She rejected and took a seat which was offered by Miro.

"sabi ko dito ka umupo!" Bongbong stipulated leaving her with no choice. She rolled her eyes and occupied the seat beside him. Miro didn't mind Bongbong's attitude as he didn't knew him well. What he knew was,Leni captivated him.

Miro seated in front of Leni instead so that he can comfortably converse with her. "Leni,what do you want? Buttered chicken-"

Bongbong cut him off. "Ay hindi sya kumakain nyan,pare!"

Leni frowned at Bongbong. "Favorite ko yung chicken di-"

Bongbong cut her off. "Hindi ka kumakain nyan!" He looked at her with eyes wide open telling her that she must obey him.

She sighed. "Oo nga pala. Hindi na nga pala ako kumakain nyan. May allergy kasi ako. Sorry." She made up an excuse instead for Miro not to be disappointed.

"No. It's okay. Sige alin nalang? I'll get it for you." Miro uttered.

She was about to answer but Bongbong was quick to put some spicy kalamari on her plate. "Favorite mo yan diba? Maanghang. Sige kain kana!" He stipulated. She just looked at him,confused of what he's up to.

They spent the whole day mirthfully. Neil got to share some stories about his life at the States while Miro didn't get the chance to talk to Leni as Bongbong kept on interrupting them when he was about to start a conversation with her.

As usual,Bongbong drive Leni home. She didn't contain herself as she was obviously blushing over Miro. "Oh! My gosh! Ang guwapo ni Miro noh! Grabe,yung eyes nya,yung smile,yung porma nya tapos the way he talk,grabe talaga super crush ko na talaga sya! Ang bait nya pa... Grabe!" She squealed at the middle of the ride.

"Anong guwapo dun? Eh parang bakla eh! Baka nga crush nun si Neil!" Bongbong replied annoyingly.

"Grabe ka naman! Panong magiging bakla yun eh lalaking lalaki nga kung kumilos at magsalita diba!" She defended.

"Sus! Bakla yun! Huwag kang maniniwala sa mga pinagsasabi nun!" He refuted and pulled over in front of their house.

She frowned as she noticed that he's acting weird every time she mentions Miro. "Hoy! Mr. Marcos magsabi ka nga,ano bang problema mo kay Miro at parang inis na inis ka sakanya? Kanina ko pa napapansin parang ayaw mo akong ipakausap sa kanya."

"Eh kasi ayaw ko naman talaga sa kanya! Ikaw naman,lapit ka nang lapit dun sa baklang yun!" He retorted.

"Pwede ba,Bong hindi nga siya bakla! Paulit-ulit naman tayo eh! And besides,ano naman kung lumalapit ako sakanya?" She argued.

"Ano kung lumalapit ka sa kanya?!" He snorted. "Eh ayoko lang na lumalapit ka! May problema ka?" He uttered exasperatingly.

She frowned. "Ewan ko sa'yo! Ang labo mo! Dyan kana nga!" She uttered and turned around opening the gate.

"Sandali lang,saan ka pupunta? Hindi pa tayo tapos mag-usap!" He grabbed her arm causing her to turned to him again.

"Ano ba,Bong!" She harshly withdrew from his grip. "Pwede ba! Bukas na tayo mag-usap kapag hindi na mainit yang ulo mo! Umuwi kana muna!"

"Bakit galit ka? Napipikon ka kasi sinasabi ko yung totoo tungkol dyan sa crush mong bakla?!" He refuted.

She grunted. "Hindi nga bakla si Miro! Umuwi kana nga,nakakainis kana eh!"

"Ewan ko sa'yo! Bahala ka nga,sinasabi na ngang bakla yun ayaw maniwala!" He rolled his eyes and walked towards his bike.

"Ewan ko din sa'yo!" She rolled her eyes and entered their house.

He started the engine and drove right away,annoyed. After a while,she peeked through their gate checking if he was still there.

"Aba! Pambihira yung lalaking yun ah! Umalis ng wala man lang goodnight kiss. Tss!" She whispered as she confirmed that he already leave.
