the rain continued to fall along with blusters of harsh wind as, on peh's order, the moebius members suddenly began charging, yelling out angrily with their fists raised above their heads.

"emma, stay back!" tadami yelled at the quivering girl. she did as she was told, shakily clutching the two umbrellas in her hand.

a rage-filled cry echoed through the parking lot as a member of moebius lunged to strike you. he missed. a spine-chilling cry ripped through his vocal cords - alerting all of his comrades. when they looked over, his arm was snapped in half.

however, despite the fear that struck them like bolts of raging thunder, they knew they had no choice but to fight. if they didn't, the consequences would be worse. far, far worse.

one member launched his fists at the kobraz leader in a whirling motion, only leading to his own embarrassment as the huge man cracked a smirk. it only took one swing of his balled fist to send the opposition crashing against the humid ground.

"draken!" you yelled out to the bleeding blond, "you good?"

the grin that settled on his crimson-stained lips as he easily knocked out a rival practically answered the question for you. "couldn't be better."

a breathy laugh slipped past your lips as you planted a kick into someone's gut, definitely breaking a rib or two.

your natural senses took over as more and more members began to pile on, desperate to overcome the margin of opponents they were faced with. there were only three of you, one injured. the fact that they were struggling so much even under those circumstances was blatantly embarrassing.

tadami growled lowly as he smashed together the heads of two moebius sheep before letting them crumple to the ground. in the distance, he made out two running figures. when they got a little closer, they froze, taking in the mess before them.

"there... it's draken!" mitsuya noted, his features captured in surprise as he watched the way blood dripped from his skull like spilled ink.

you and draken paused, looking at the two boys through hazy eyes. "hey, mitsuya. takemitchy."

"you're a little late," you told them playfully, jamming your fist into someone's face with such severity it almost caved in. the pain that shot through your knuckles barely fazed you.

"takemitchy!" emma yelled, tears clouding her sandy eyes, "mitsuya!!"

mitsuya's expression darkened, betrayal seeping through his veins. "peh, you asshole!! what're you doing with moebius?!"

emma felt so overwhelmed by everything, grateful for the two boys' arrival. "peh, you coward!! you attacked him from behind with a bat and brought a whole army with you!!" she yelled, feeling cheated on draken's behalf. "how can you call yourself a man?!"

she was right, what peh was doing was cowardly. in the name of love for a brother, but cowardly, nonetheless. pah would never approve of this. never in a million years.
