Grampa's transformation was complete and he now went by the name "Crud", speaking in broken English.

"Me Crud! Crud SMASH!" Crud spoke before breaking Big Jim's pizza box keyboard that layed on the table with his fist.

"Hmm, what Crud do next?" Crud thought until he saw the exit. "Oh, look, Crud see exit!"

"Crud exit  and wreak havoc!" Crud exited cat jail and began to destroy everything in sight, including a building, a fire hydrant, all while crying, "Crud punch! Crud kick!"

Meanwhile, Petey was walking angrily with the ice cream splattered on his chest, Maddie and Lil' Petey following.

"I'm sorry, Papa," Lil' Petey apologized.

"Yeah, right," Petey said, jumping into a lake to wash the ice cream off. "I told you not to climb on me with that gelato."

"Petey, it was an accident," Maddie said as Petey used the water to wash himself and shook himself dry when he climbed out of the water." Don't make it such a big deal."

"Maddie, you're being too soft," Petey told her. "Kids aren't gonna listen to you if you're too soft on them."

"Are you still mad at Lil' Petey?" Maddie asked.

"A little," Petey said, sitting on the ground, with Maddie and Lil' Petey sitting next to him. "But I'll get over it."

"Good," Lil' Petey said. "It's important to forgive, right, Papa?"

"Yeah, I guess so," Petey said, before saying after a moment. "But you can't just forgive everybody."

"Why not?" Lil' Petey asked.

"Because some folks don't deserve it," Petey told Maddie and Lil' Petey. "Like Grampa."

"Oh, Maddie and I forgave Grampa a long time ago," Lil' Petey said, with Maddie nodding in response.

"How could you two forgive that guy?" Petey said before pointing out. " He kidnapped you two! He left you two in the recycling bin! He's betrayed you two every chance he's gotten! What kind of a monster-"

"Hey, Papa, look!" Lil' Petey interrupted, holding a worm in one of his paws. "I caught a worm."

"Are you even listening?" Petey asked.

Meanwhile, Sarah was making another breaking news story. "Good evening, folks," she greeted, holding Zuzu in her arm and a microphone in her other hand. "I'm Sarah Hatoff with the news. A weird spider-like cat is busting up the city.

"Crud steal!" Crud showed up, holding bags of money in each of his hands that he stole from a bank.

"Tell us, Mr. Crud," Sarah held the microphone up to Crud for him to speak. "What's it like being a ruthless villain?"

"Hmm," Crud thought for a moment. "If Crud be totally honest, it a little bit lonely. Crud wish him have someone to talk to. Crud need buddy."

At the cop station, Chief and Dog Man were watching the news. Chief had an idea. "Did you hear that, Dog Man?" Chief asked Dog Man. "That evil is looking for a sidekick. And that gives me an idea, you must go undercover! Deep undercover! You must convince that Crud guy that you're just as evil as him."

Chief took out a black marker and wrote eyebrows on Dog Man's helmet that made him look a bit evil. "Now for the final touch," Chief said as he removed Dog Man's badge. He wrote "bad" after A, making the writing read "I'm a bad cat."

"Perfect," Chief said. "Now get out there and make me proud."

Dog Man ran out of the station, pressing one of his ear to make a hissing sound.
