*Katsumi's POV*
"Katsu..?" Naruto mumbled so I turned to him and saw him still in the futon
"Oh, so you've awoken..." I sighed in relief and sat down next to him
"What happened..?" Naruto asked weakly then I petted his head
"You fainted. That's all" I said simply, not wanting to remind him of what Gaara and I said
"Where's Kakashi-sensei and captain Yamato?!" Naruto asked all of a sudden but I remained silent
"You and I are going back to the village, Nii-chan. Kakashi's orders." I said. I had definitely forgotten how stubborn my brother was because he ignored me and tried to get his equipment pouch
I simply sighed and stopped him by snatching away his pouch with my water
"Listen, Kakashi's going to take care of Sakura, got it?" I said
"....I know. I'll go back to the village after I get more rest..." Naruto mumbled and got back in his futon
"I made you some food, so you should eat before-"
"I don't feel like it, Nee-chan...Leave me alone.."
"It's your favorite-"
"I said leave me alone."
"....Do you need anything from me?"
"No. Now please stop talking to me."
"Okay...Sleep well, Naru..." I mumbled and walked out of the room to give him space
I didn't know if this was my fault for leaving him so suddenly or because I didn't drag Sasuke to hell when I had the chance. Either way, it's still my fault.
I sighed. "Sasuke, isn't it enough now?"
"Come out." Sasuke said after he seemed to notice me following him around. I stayed silent and didn't move
"I said come out whoever the hell you are!" Sasuke shouted with an intent to murder this time so I sighed and showed myself
"Who are you?" He spat with a disgusted tone since I was wearing my Akatsuki cloak and from what I know, this man despises the Akatsuki so goddamn much
"None of your business." I said coldly, giving him a death stare through my hood that covers most of my face
"Are you Katsumi?"
"..."
"Seems that you are. Why are you with the Akatsuki"
"Same as before. None of your business"
"You've changed, Katsumi. What happened to that female Naruto who is just smarter?"
"And you've also changed. You've fallen so low, Sasuke"
"Oh? That's bold of you to say. You, who has a brother that aspires to become Hokage, became a member of the Akatsuki"
"Heh, we're merely two words in, and you already look like you want me dead." I smirked mockingly and Sasuke suddenly brought out the chidori
"Oh you wanna fight?" I asked, tilting my head to the side
"Yeah, looking at you reminds me of both Naruto and Itachi. You're an eyesore" Sasuke smirked smugly as he activated his sharingan
"Bring it on, Sasuke" I smiled as Sasuke charged towards me with his chidori ready to stab. I stood still and didn't care about him coming. When he was close, I got water out of the ground and wrapped it around his neck, basically choking him
"Awww, how cute. It seems like someone's ego is too big for their abilities" I smiled mockingly and ruffled Sasuke's hair "Too bad. Go cry in your corner, emo kid"
Suddenly, my Akatsuki ring started glowing and I huffed
'The gingerbread man summoned us now, of all times..' I mentally sighed and let go out Sasuke, twirling my water around me
"You were lucky this time, but know that next time, I won't let you see another brink of daylight" I said murderously, glaring at him from the corner of my eyes "Farewell, until we meet again, Sasuke"
"It was a big mistake...It would've have mattered if I was late since I was a new member, but I could've ended this as fast as possible..." I mumbled to myself, filled with regret.
I could've stopped this all from happening, but I just couldn't live with the guilt of killing my brother's best friend and my best friends' crush. I knew they could never forgive me if they found out
I took the ramen out and heated it up for Naruto. An hour had already passed so he probably had had his rest.
"Naru? You there?" I mumbled as I walked into his room
"Yeah.."
"Let's go back to the village, okay?" I said softly
"Just a little-" Naruto said but he suddenly poofed
"A shadow clone-?!" I gasped then quickly removed the blanket to see a hole under
"That little- NARUTO!!!"
