Overarching conflict:

Don and Dick work at a grocery store at the start, as they used to work for Duni until they (Don, Dick, and Dashlie) decided to quit to search for a better meaning in life other than being lowly minions to a big Corp. A grocery store is the best they've got, but it definitely can't be a stable job. So, this entire first season, Don and Dick search for a good job to have. Why together? Well, just coincidence that they both keep signing up to work at the same jobs. Meanwhile, the business of everyday shenanigans follow them around, keeping them from more effectively reaching their goal and always getting in the way of maintaining their current jobs, though through speculation, it can be believed that this is for the best, almost acting as some outside force keeping them from working at dead end jobs and instead step closer to a career that can reach their full potential

Side info:

-They all live in the middle of nowhere, but it isn't the complete middle of nowhere. It is in a rural area. Don and Dick live on the same property but in two separate houses, and Dashlie lives in her own home with her mother across the street. It is the countryside, most of it dry wheat fields and forest, so it takes a long time to get to the city
-Don doesn't know how to drive and so he usually carpools with Dashlie since Dick either gets up way too early for Don to have a talk with him or way too late for Don to arrive at work on time
- Dashlie drives a silver Ford Fussion 2012
- Dick drives a gray 2002 Lexus ES300
-Don does have feelings for Dick, though he isn't aware of it. He just thinks he really wants to be friends with Dick, so it sometimes hurts him when Dick doesn't talk to him as much, making Don feel like Dick doesn't care about him. Don doesn't know why he cares so much, he just assumes maybe it's because it's hard for him to make friends, and here he has this neighbor that he's known for a good amount of time, though Dick makes no move to be friendly towards him
-Don has an ex girlfriend named Dousie who is pretty crazy. On more than one occasion when he was dating her, she has stolen from him. From his wallet on the first date, to an Xbox controller when he invited her over, all the way to breaking open a secret compartment in his room he didn't even know was there, taking whatever was inside. The two aren't dating anymore obviously, but there will be an episode where she returns, and she will end up stalking him into the second season
-Dashlie is trying to figure herself out, what with having made a huge change from being in a big city with loads of "friends" and partying constantly, all the way to changing to a quiet countryside with little to no friends, that has got to be anxiety-inducing
-Don's aunt's name is Meredith Mondelli; aunt Meredith
-A teen boy works at the pet shop Dashlie works at. He's a blonde boy who really wants to make friends. He is present in every instance a scene is at the pet shop. None of the main character like him. His name is Gerald
-Don's aunt is 10 years older than Don
-Richard has a stuffed animal of a horned rabbitbear, a fearsome predator found in the dark parts of the woods and is largely feared by small towns and woodland cities. Dick loves it though, but he's embarrassed at the thought of people knowing
-Dashlie hasn't played the violin since middle school, making the fake appearance of her in the Who You Gonna Call? episode creepier

Jokes

Don: Dick, the Time Bitch

Dashlie: are your pores as small as your dick?

Dick: wouldn't you like to know

Sierra, to Dashlie: Wow! I love you can just, like, eat anything. I prefer to watch what I eat, you know? It's easier to gain weight nowadays, dont you think? But that's so brave of you.
