Stephen, your husband, was on a long road trip with the Golden State Warriors. So far they were 2-1 run.

Stephen always rings me and our 1 year old son, Isaiah to make sure we are okay.

Since Steph was gone a lot he missed his son who was growing up so fast. Steph would always beat himself up because he believes he is not a good father. Which is completely untrue. It is his job for crying out loud. He provides for me and Isaiah. Yes he is not here as much as he or I would like but he always makes the best out of the amount of time he gets with us.

Tonight you were gonna to Skype him as he is not traveling.

Your son Isaiah was dosing off even thought it was only 7:00pm

"Hello babe" he said cheerfully. He face lit up when he saw me hold up Isaiah.

"Hello, buddy" Steph said. "He is adorable"

Isaiah sat on my lap and started to point and clap when he saw Steph which was adorable.

Isaiah looked exactly like his father. I don't think Isaiah took any of my physical attributes.

"How are you?" You asked "I'm good I've been a little under the weather lately. I guess home sickness."

A smile never left your face for the next hour as you talked to Steph. This boy was amazing and he knew how to treat his women right.

"Well babe, it is 9pm now and I need sleep." He said adding a little yawn at the end of the sentence.

"Okay baby, I love you and hurry home." You giggled slightly.

"I love you too Andrea, and I love you too Isaiah" Steph said while smiling at Isaiah.

"dada"

You and Steph darted your eyes at each other and then looked at Isaiah in disbelief.

"Did he just say what I think he said" said a stunned Steph.

"I think he did. Sweetheart what did you say?" I gently lifted his chin so he was looking up at me.

Isaiah then lowered his head again and pointed at the laptops screen "dada"

"He said my name" Steph cheered.

Finally he said his first words. What can I say late bloomer just like his father. You giggled to yourself.

"Okay baby I love you but Isaiah needs a rest. Goodnight"

"I love you too, goodnight Isaiah"

With that you closed your laptop and carried your son into his room. You laid him down into his cot.

"Goodnight Sweetheart." You leaned down and kissed him on his forehead. "Daddy and I love you"
