part 9

*Gabriel's pov*

It was now Christmas eve. Our baby was only 2 or 3 weeks away. We were trying to get the boys into bed which was easy with Enzo but Luca was all over the place.

"Come on Luca get into bed!" I continued to struggle. He laughed at me while jumping up and down in the bed.

"No! I've got to get out my energy before santa comes!!!" He screamed. If he wasn't willingly gonna go to bed looks like I'm gonna have to wrestle him down.

I grabbed him and layed him down on the bed, I quickly tucked him in before he couldn't get back up. "Now go to sleep or santa won't come!"

*Victorias pov*

I lay in bed during at the wall. Being so pregnant meant I could only sleep on my side. The door opened as the light spilled in from the hallway. "Hey.. sorry did I wake you?" I shool my head no as Gabriel rid himself of his clothes untill he was in just his boxers.

He got into bed next to me and wrapped his arms round my waist- well.. bump. Turns out we're having a girl. When we found out Gabriel was so happy! He says that he'll protect her with his life and that hopefully she'll be a Daddy's girl.

"I love you.." the boy whispered.

"I love you too.." I responded.

I felt a sharp pain in my stomach, causing me to wake up. I looked at the clock besides me, 4:31am.
I rubbed my stomach softly, "come on baby girl.. let Mummy rest.. you can come on boxing day but please not Christmas.." I spoke to my stomach in a soft whisper but it still woke the boy next to me up.

"You okay darling?" He whispered in his sleepy voice. I was tempted to say yes so that he would get more sleep but if I was in labor and it wasn't a braxton hick then I didn't wanna do it alone.

"Uh I just had a contraction, I don't know if it was a braxton hick or not." He immediately darted up.

"Oh shit! Okay uh I'll go get some water for you. And uh put your feet up if they dint go away there actual contractions and we need to call the midwife!" He ran out the room and out of my sight immediately.

Within a few minutes he came back with the glass of water. I slowly began sipping it but then, I felt like I was peeing. My water had broke. Holy shit! I must've been in labour for quite a while but didn't realise or feel anything!

"OH MY GOD!!! DID YOUR WATER JUST BREAK?!?!" Gabriel yelled, clearly panicking.  what an idiot.

"Nah I spilt my water YES MY WATER BROKE YOU IDIOT!!! CALL THE FUCKING MIDWIFE!!!" I screamed at him. We had decided to have a home birth so I will be more calm although so far it's not really working.

I watched as he quickly called the Midwifes while I sat there lile a lemon. He got off the phone and looked at me. "Okay! They said to get you in the bath to decrease the pain a bit and something about hormones I don't know!"

My husband walked over to my side if the bed and went to help me up when I go another contraction. 6 minutes apart. Great. I clutched onto Gabriel's arm.

At this point everyone was awake and slowly starting to emerge into our room to see what's happening. Runy was first with a screaming now 3 year old, then Enzo. Mateo, Luca and Taylor.

"Oh my god is she coming!" Ruby squealed while running over.

"No she's leaving." I tutted at her. Some people. Blame it on my hormones but how dumb can everyone be.

"Someone take the screaming child so I can help Victoria!" Ruby turned to everyone while placing Danielle on the floor as he waddled over to everyone else.

Ruby and Gabriel took me into the bathroom and turned in the bath. I stripped down into my underwear before Ruby left the bathroom.

My husband helped me out my underwear before I got in. He sat down next to me. Rubbing my hand that clutched onto the bath tub.

*Gabriel's pov*

I felt awful knowing I'm the reason that she's pregnant and going through the amount of pain she has in the last 9 months. Including the miscariage.

I looked at my girl once again and saw tears streaming down her face already. "Ow! Ow! Ow! Make it stop!" She screamed. I quickly jumped up and tried to hold her but the tub was in the way.

As soon as the contraction was over I moved away. "I'm gonna go get some swim trunks in then I'll get in the bath, okay? Do you want anyone to come in?" Shr shook her head as I quickly ran out the bathroom and grabbed some trunks.

"Whats going on? Victoria is okay isn't she?!" Lorenzo began questioning immediately.

"Uh I think she's fine just in alot of pain.. I'm getting in the bath with her, all of you can go back to bed I'll wake you all up if anything changes.." I mumbled before running back to the bathroom. I had less then a minute untill the next contraction.

I shook off my clothes and quickly got my shorts on. Once I was in the bath she sat inbetween my legs with her head on my chest.

"This better be fucking worth it!" She groaned while clutching onto both of my hands. There was a knock at the bathroom door.

"Who is it?!" Victoria yelled out. Clearly frustrated.

"Mrs Armani I'm one of the Midwifes, the others are in their way. May I come in?" A women spoke from behind the door.

She grunted a.. sound.. I have no clue what it is bit I'm taking it as a yes as the women walked in.

"Hello Mr and Mrs Armani. I just need to ask a few questions." The woman began asking away. I wasn't actually listening. To busy staring at my girl. My wife.

However the midwife was staring at Me. I was shirtless in swimming trunks. Giving her a view. Not that I wanted her staring at me.

"If you want to keep your job stop staring at him." Victoria barked making the girl look away instantly.

It had just hit 8am and Victoria had migrated to the lounge so she could have a some what normal Christmas as she says.

We were watching the boys open their presents while Danielle through a hissy fit, not understanding that he can't open everyone else's presents for them.

*Victorias pov*

The contractions were only getting worse. Now 3 minutes apart. I'm pretty tempted to get an epidural I won't lie.

I groaned some more a little bit louder then expected as I buried my head into Gabriel's chest.

"Oh fuck it! Someone get me an epidural I don't care anymore!!!" I screamed at the Midwifes. They all began running round getting the needle ready.

"Uhm sir would you like to sit infront of her so she can lean against you as we enter the needle" an older women instructed the boy sat next to me.

I felt a sharp pinch in my back as they injected me.

"Okay, great job it'll take about 20 minutes for the full effect to sink in.." she mumbled while standing back up. I hasnt noticed almost everyone staring at me. Oops?
