Master Gunnery Sergeant examined class A's hero suits while they are practicing their aim with battle rifles.
"Now because you're teenagers, we need to practice your aim and do not play around with this weaponry blonde, it's not a toy", yelled Armatenant at Kaminari.
"Sorry sir", said Kaminari.
"This is why you're being supervised", said Armatenant.
"We never got your name sir, who are you", asked Deku.
"I am lieutenant Chester young man, but everyone in the UNSC calls me Armatenant", answered Armatenant.
"I was the one who came up with the name, then it caught on to everyone else after calling him that many times", said Jonny.
"He fused the words Armadillo and Lieutenant together cause my quirk is Armadillo, I was annoyed by it in the past but I got used to it eventually", said Armatenant.
"Blaa, blaa, blaa, I get, I just want to shoot something", yelled Bakugo.
Bakugo aimed his battle rifle at the target hitting the bullseye.
"Not bad kid", said Armatenant.
"I can aim my AP Shots, can't be that hard to aim a gun", said Bakugo.
"Just don't get too excited or else some of us could be murdered", teased Armatenant.
"I KNOW WHO TO AIM AT, STOP BEING PARANOID", yelled Bakugo.
"I was teasing, but seriously be careful, that goes for the rest of you kids", said Armatenant.
"Well Chester, there's no way I'm going to be able to put the armor bits over these outfits, they're a bit... complex, but I have another solution, I know two guys who can help me make armored suits in just a few minutes, well I'm no fashion artist but one of those two men is, he can shape up the design of your original outfits onto those suits, how about that", asked Master Gunnery Sergeant.
"I think that will work, what do you kids think", asked Armatenant.
"It's new armor with our outfits designs, intriguing...", said Yaoyorozu.
"They will look slightly different from your outfits but enough features to be recognizable, but we will cover up that hole in that girls suit", said Master Gunnery Sergeant pointing to Yaoyorozu.
"I'm interested to see what our outfits look like in the armor form they keep mentioning, I say do it sir", said Kirishima.
"Me two", said Kaminari.
"Don't waste time sir get those suits started", said Iida.
"Yes sir", said Master Gunnery Sergeant saluting to Iida.
The armor suits came in after training was over and class A had a good aim with guns.
Everyone took a look at them being amazed.
"Not bad", said Todoroki.
"Those look badass", said Uraraka.
"Oh look at mine, they kept my belt", said Kirishima.
"We had one made for you too teacher since you're participating as well", said Master Gunnery Sergeant.
"No problem", said Aizawa.
"These kids ain't bad using our military technology Gunns, they can aim bullseyes even doing crazy stunts, now about those suits, are they actually lower grade", asked Armatenant.
"Of course it is, I've learned how real Spartan armor works, keep these kids away from Halsey", said Master Gunnery Sergeant.
"Why", asked Deku.
"Okay Spartans have to go through an augmentation to get the bigger strengths than an average human being, however that procedure can lead to serious side affects that can disable you or lead to death, this is why we decided to give you armor that can improve your abilities by just slipping it on, your abilities will only improve with your armor on and you're back to normal once you take it off, similar to Spartan armor but without chemical damage, that augmentation was invented by Dr Catherine Halsey, she was the reason we have Master Chief, he may have went through augmentation just fine and survived at age 14 but not everyone is the same, since you're only volunteering for the human covenant war we didn't want you to go through that procedure, that's why we call the armor we're giving you lower grade, your abilities will improve but not as high as an actual Spartan", answered Armatenant.
"Isn't she arrested now", asked Jonny.
"Yes, keep away cause it was said she broke a military law", answered Armatenant.
"Is there any reason why you didn't just give use marine armor", asked Kaminari.
"You could use a little support, those marine suits ain't going to benefit your quirks or abilities, believe me we did the same with few soldiers with certain quirks, you know how some quirks can interfere with clothing right, well they will interfere these armor suits way less", answered Master Gunnery Sergeant.
"Oh yeah I forgot about that", said Kaminari.
"Moron", said Bakugo to Kaminari.
"Now we all know you only had a few minutes of training but we have to get moving, slip on those suits and follow me to my ship", said Armatenant.
"I hope they fit", said Deku.
"They should, those two are good about reading your height and width I measured you with my device here", said Master Gunnery Sergeant holding a computer looking measuring device.
Meanwhile, Arbiter was carried by two brutes with Tartarus leading them through a prison.
"How much further must we heft this baggage, any cell will do", asked brute 1.
"Why not toss him in with this lot, they could use the meat", said brute 2 eyeing a bunch of jailed jackals.
"Them, what about us, my belly aches- and his flesh is seared, just the way I like it", said brute 1.
"Quiet, you two whimper like grunts fresh off the teat, he's not meant for the jails, the Hierarchs have something special in mind", said Tartarus.
The brutes move out onto a platform overlooking the Mausoleum of the Arbiter.
They ride a Gravity Lift down to the walkway leading up to it and pass dozens of Elite Honor Guards standing at attention, staves ready. They enter the Mausoleum, where the Prophets of Truth and Mercy await. The Brutes and Tartarus bow.
"Noble Prophets of Truth and Mercy, I have brought the incompetent".
"You may leave Tartarus", said Truth.
"But....I thought...", said Tartarus confused.
"And take your brutes with you", said Truth.
"Release the prisoner", said Tartarus.
The brutes released Arbiter and they along Tartarus left.
"The Council decided to have you hung by your entrails and your corpse paraded through the city, but ultimately, the terms of your execution are up to me", said Truth.
"I'm already dead", said Arbiter.
"Indeed, do you know where we are", asked Truth.
"The Mausoleum of the Arbiter", answered Arbiter.
"Quite so, here rests the vanguard of the Great Journey, every Arbiter, from first to last, each one created and consumed in times of extraordinary crisis", said Truth.
"The Taming of the Hunters, the Grunt Rebellion - were it not for the Arbiters, the Covenant would have broken long ago", said Mercy.
"Even on my knees, I do not belong in their presence", said Arbiter.
"Halo's destruction was your error, and you rightly bear the blame, but the Council was... overzealous, we know you are no heretic, this is the true face of heresy, one who would subvert our faith and incite rebellion against the High Council", said Truth.
Truth presses a button on his chair and a miniature hologram of an Elite in abnormal equipment appears.
"Our Prophets are false, open your eyes, my brothers, they would use the faith of our forefathers to bring ruin to us all, the Great Journey is a-", said the elite hologram.
"This heretic, and those who follow him, must be silenced", said Truth.
"Their slander offends all who walk the path", said Mercy.
"What use am I, I can no longer command ships, lead troops into battle-", said Arbiter.
"Not as you are, no, but become the Arbiter...and you shall be set loose against this heresy with our blessing", said Truth.
A large pod floats into the center of the room, opening to reveal a suit of ancient armor surrounded by white light.
Arbiter Thel 'Vadamee stares at this for a moment, before turning back to Truth.
"What of the Council", asked Arbiter.
"The tasks you must undertake as the Arbiter are perilous, suicidal, you will die, as each Arbiter has before you, the Council will have their corpse", answered Mercy.
Arbiter Thel 'Vadamee rises and walks toward the armor.
He pauses before it, and looks to the pods containing the bodies of the Arbiters who fell before him.
He reaches up and takes the helmet of the Arbiter, and places it upon his head.
He turns to the Hierarchs.
"What would you have your Arbiter do", asked Arbiter.
Three Phantoms fly past the ruins of Installation 04, a large piece of it still intact and with landscape and clouds still visible.
As it flies, the voice of Rtas 'Vadumee can be heard.
"When we joined the Covenant, we took an oath", said Rtas.
The scene cuts to the inside of the center Phantom, where Special Ops elites, along with the new Arbiter, line the walls, with a line of Special Ops grunts in the center.
An Ultra Elite, the SpecOps Leader Rtas 'Vadumee, walks among them.
"According to our station, all without exception", said the SpecOps elites.
"On the blood of our fathers, on the blood of our sons...we swore to uphold the Covenant", said Rtas.
"Even to our dying breath", said the SpecOps elites.
"Those who would break this oath are Heretics, worthy of neither pity, nor mercy, even now they use our lords' creations to broadcast their lies", said Rtas.
"We shall grind them into dust!", said the SpecOps elites.
"And continue our march to glorious salvation", said Rtas.
The Phantoms enter Threshold's atmosphere and come upon a large Forerunner platform.
Scene fades back to inside lead Phantom.
The Spec Ops Leader approaches Arbiter.
They stare each other down.
"This armor suits you, but it cannot hide that mark".
"Nothing ever will", said Arbiter.
"You are the Arbiter, the will of the Prophets, but these are my elites, their lives matter to me, yours does not", said Rtas.
"That makes two of us", said Arbiter. "Hmmm....", said Rtas in a respectful tone.
The Phantoms fly over the Forerunner platform and descend toward another structure dangling below it on a long cable, a Gas Mine. An intense storm swirls below the structure.
"Leader, there is no doubt: the storm will strike the facility", said the Phantom Pilot.
"We'll be long gone before it arrives", said Rtas.
The Phantoms fly lower, near the top of one of several towers sticking out from the center of the main structure. One deposits a group of grunts and an elite, followed by a second one that drops two elites and Arbiter.
"Warriors, prepare for combat".
Arbiter ignites his energy sword and looks at it.
