We were between takes in a club scene. It was the last couple of filming days. Honestly it made me really sad to realise that I wouldn't be seeing Tom every day when we finished. I wasn't even gone yet and I already missed him.

Me and Tom were just messing about, smoking and dancing in front of the camera, laughing along with Brian the director and Paul. For some reason someone had put a shitty Justin Timberlake song on and we just couldn't stop messing around.

"I want to stay in this moment forever," I shouted over the music.

"We can, if you want," he said back quiet enough so Paul and Brian couldn't hear. "We're good together Y/n."

My smile widened.

He came closer and started to dance, still stupidly but just with our hands connected. He even spun me a couple times.

"She's not your girlfriend, calm down Tom," Brian said, laughing at the two of us.

Tom came close to my ear, still swaying to the music, "oh but she is," he whispered.

"Do you think I have daddy issues?"

There was a long pause. "Yes," Tom said.

We both broke out into hysterics, laughing and almost toppling over from it.

Tom was just finishing up a scene and I was just sorting out his tie. He had blood on his shirt and messy hair, and I had to admit he looked hot. Him as a gangster was hot.

On the other side of the set, just behind the barriers, their were paparazzi. We had been told about them earlier and to not engage with them so we just kept giggling.

It was only later that I saw the pictures and the mass of articles about the two of us laughing together. Unsurprisingly they were all about this mystery girl in the photos and who is she.

The film would be coming out at the end of the year, then press tour and I could tell there would be questions about what the circumstances of our relationship is. Are we friends? Good friends? Lovers? Is he just with me cause I'm young? And am with him cause he has money?

"Fuck my life."

"What?" Tom asked, laughing slightly.

We were in his trailer, it was the end of the last day of filming. I was just scrolling through my phone and Tom was answering emails. He had his arm around me and every so often I could feel his fingers moving over the fabric of my jumper. Well, his, that I stole.

"Have you seen this? It was from the other day." I showed him the article I had up.

He looked at it for a second. "Awe, that's a nice photo of us."

"I meant the title you idiot. We need to be more careful."

He read the title. 'Who is this mystery girl Tom is getting familiar with?' "Careful is boring. I can't deal with careful."

"I just—"

"I was thinking, right. Why don't I head down to uni with you?"

"Dude," I moaned. "That isn't being careful."

"But I want to meet your friends."

"Don't do that."

"Do what?"

"Be so nice. Would it be so hard to be an arsehole once in a while?"

He laughed. "It's gonna be okay, we'll make it work."

I thought for a second. The idea of the man I had fallen in love with ask you meet my friends was a fucking dream. I don't understand how someone could be so nice.

He looked me in my eyes and smiled warmly. "Can I kiss you?"

I hadn't expected that question. It's like I couldn't speak. I opened my mouth but nothing came out. I opted to nod instead.

He came closer to me and pressed his lips against mine.
