Chapter 15

Celine's pov

"Mommy, can you sleep with me? can you also read to me a bedtime story.?" Ace says before I walk out of his room after tucking him to bed.

" Really? OK baby, I'll do that." I kiss his cheek.

I reach out for the book from the shelf and I sit beside my son Ace on his bed before I start to read him a bedtime story and in no time he fell asleep and I couldn't just leave him so and I slept beside him."

The next morning I woke up and I Help Ace get ready to school. Today I was going to drop my son to school because it's been awhile since I actually took him to school by myself. Normally I would ask Nanny Marie or the guards to take him to school. The reason I did that was because I was still trying to hide from the world since everybody knows that I'm dead. I thought it was better for me to conceal my identity because it was not yet time for me to reveal myself to the world, especially to Donald and everybody who knew me before.

Few people know me at Celine but the rest of the world know me as Ivy Powers.

The name Ivy was suggested by my aunt Verruca before she died. She told me that I needed to change my name in order for me to be safe, especially from the people who wanted to destroy me back then she had a point 'cause I wasn't ready to face them. And it was better for me to be known as a dead person.

"All the best my son" I kiss his cheeks as he goes inside the school gate.

Ace waves at me and blows me a kiss as he goes inside.

Suddenly I hear kids telling him that. "Your mommy brought you again?"

"Where is your father? Do you really have one?"

"Did your parents divorce?"

"Oh you are such a mommy's boy"

They keep on telling such bad words to my son and my son does not answer. It breaks my heart to see my son being bullied that way. Just because he doesn't have a father and they do that to him? It is just not fair. He's just a kid for God's sake, and people are just peeking on him.

I feel tears coming from my eyes. I got through the gate-and called Ace to come to me. When he when he sees me calling him, he runs to me and hugs me. I hug him tightly.

"Please don't cry Mommy, just ignore them. I know one day I'm going to see my daddy. So whatever they say, I know that is not true because my dad loves me and I'm sure he's going to come back to us. Mommy, isn't that right? Isn't that what you always tell me not to care about what people say? , and that one day my father will come to me and reunite with us.?" Ace says wiping my tears away.

Oh my boy is so brave and strong huh.

I raffle his head and elope him to a hug again.

"Of course, baby. You are going to see your daddy soon. I know how much you want to have a daddy and mommy is trying so hard to get that for you. Just know that mommy loves you very much No matter what. And no one has the right To judge you. So my son do not ever Let them get to you. Okay?" He nods and smiles at me.

"Mommy don't worry I am okay with it. I love you mommy" he says and kisses me.

"I love you too son"

"I cant believe you asked her out dude. I am so happy for you" Rojas states with a smile on his face, deep inside my heart i wish i could take it back. Great!

"I hope i wont hurt her" i say and sip my shot in one gulp.

"You can do it brother" i nod in approval.
