ALICIA'S POV

"She has agreed to meet us here at the company. I just got a call from her secretary" I stated firmly to Adam who was busy typing something in his laptop.

"Okay I guess that is a good thing, I hope she will agree to everything" I smirked.

We were waiting for Ivy Powers to come join the meeting with boards of Director. Why was she taking such a long time?

"Why isn't she here?" I asked Adam who was busy typing something his phone. I was seated beside her. Every member of the board was anxiously waiting.

"Aren't you going to say anything?" I asked Adam again feeling so irritated by the fact he wasn't paying attention to me.

"Ever heard of the word patience" he stated making me roll my eyes.

Just when everyone was getting pissed up by her delay, the doors opened and a woman who I presumed was Ivy Powers stepped inside the room. Her performed lingered our nostrils. She was dressed in all black pant suites. Her hair tied up in a ban with French bangs hanging on her forehead. She had put on her dark shades on making her look a little sassy.

She literally took the attention of everyone in the room, all eyes on her. She waved and smiled at us. "My sincere apologies, the traffic was really bad out there I believe you all know how the city is quite busy these days" she stated as she walked towards the empty seat at the front.

"Apologies accepted Miss Ivy Powers" Adam stood up and shook hands with her, Ivy smiled and sat down.

"So I believe you are all set for the presentation?" she asked and Adam gave a signal to Tony to start the presentation. I looked around the room and everyone was staring at the so called Ivy Powers.

"Sure, we can start" Tony stood up and started the presentation. We all listened attentively.

DONLAD'S POV

"I am sorry I have a meeting in a few minutes Erica I will see you in the evening, I need to tell you something" I heard her curse over the phone and then she hanged off her phone. That didn't sound well.

"Are you really going to tell her the truth?" Brandon asked me and I said yes.

"I have to Brandon, the earlier the better" he nodded.

CELINE'S POV

"You have a visitor Miss Ivy" I looked up to see my secretary Luna. I nodded at her and she left. Few minutes later someone stepped inside the office. My eyes widened to see her here. What is she doing here?

"Hey " she said with all smiles and walked towards me.

"Hey, Erica. It is my pleasure to see you here honestly" I reasoned out. I stood up and went towards her and we hugged briefly.

"I am sorry to come here un announced. I thought I could use a friend right now. Things haven't been so good between me and Donald" she sounded so sad and I felt so bad.

"I am so sorry Erica" she nodded and I welcomed her to sit down. I offered her some coffee too.

"Thank you for your generousity and kind gesture. I am also sorry for taking your precious time for I know you are such a busy woman Ivy" I smiled and touched her hand "No, you are not bothering in fact, I am happy that you are here right now. I am always busy with work that I forget to even have time for friends or my self and more worst my son" Shit! I just mentioned that without thinking.

Her eyes widened and I just tried to act calm about it "OMG you have a son?" I nodded.

"Yes, I have a son, his name is Ace" She nodded with a smile.
