3rd pov
The camera opens to blue team's dorm. Caleb and Tucker are sitting on their bunks while Carolina and Wash are studying at the desk in the room, Caleb hears a ring from his scroll and he takes it out to see he got a message from Ruby

Hi Caleb! Me and my team are heading into Vale today, Weiss wants to welcome some students that are coming from Vacuo, or something. And I wanted to invite you if you want
Caleb thinks about it for a second, he looks around the room. There's nothing to do so he might as well join, he messages Ruby back

Caleb: *Pockets scroll* "Hey. See ya later, guys"
He jumps off of his bunk and goes and grabs his jacket and puts on his boots and helmet
Carolina: "Where are you going?"
Caleb: "To Vale. Ruby invited me to join her and her team"
Wash: "Okay. Be safe"
Caleb: "It's gonna be fine"
He opens the door and walks out. As he's walking down the hall he sees Donut walking ahead and speeds up to catch up to him
Caleb: "Hey! Muffin man!" He calls Donut who turns around
Donut: "Hey, Caboose! Uhh, it's 'Donut' by the way"
Caleb: *chuckles* "I know. So, what's up?"
Donut: "My team wants me to go to the store and pick up two quarts of elbow grease and some headlight fluid for Sarges car"
Caleb: "His car?"
Donut: "That's what I said. And elbow grease? How stupid do they think I am? But once I get back with the headlight fluid, I'm gonna talk to Sarge"
Caleb: "Right, then. See ya!" He says as he turns back around and heads to team RWBY's dorm
Donut: "Bye!"

The camera opens to show Grif and Simmons standing outside of a warehouse where Asher told them to meet him, Simmons turns to Grif
Simmons: "Hey?"
Grif: *turns to him* "Yeah?"
Simmons: "You ever wonder why we're here?"
Grif: "It's one of life's great mysteries, isn't it? Why are we here? I mean, are we the product of...some cosmic coincidence? or...are there really gods watching everything? Y'know, with a plan for us and stuff? I dunno, man. But it keeps me up at night"
