Volume 3 Chapter 2: New Challengers

The scene opens to teams RWBY, BLUE and RDDD(Red) entering the stadium to watch team JNPR's match, while Emerald and Mercury walk behind them. The three teams turn right, while Emerald and Mercury turn left, and Caleb and Yang both turn their heads to look at them before looking forward again. They get to their seats and watch as team JNPR and BRNZ get ready

Port(P.A): "Team JNPR of beacon! Versus team BRNZ of shade!"

A circle of holographic roulettes appears, and each one starts spinning through various terrains. On team JNPR's side was a mountain

Port(P.A): "Three...! Two...! One...!"

Jaune: "Come on, guys!" He says, raising his sword

Port(P.A): "Begin!"

With that, the match begins. While Brawnz, Roy and Nolan run at team JNPR, their team mate, May, runs into the forest area behind them. As Brawnz and Pyrrha engage each other, Ren and Nora both team up on Nolan, and May shoots at them from a tree and destroys a boulder behind Ren as he was running to help Nora. Jaune blocks an attack from Roy and swings at him, and then a bullet from May flies past his head. He looks around and spots her in a tree

Jaune: "Retreat!" He yells

Ren looks around before retreating, a bullet barely missing his foot. Jaune and Pyrrha deflect a couple bullets with their shields as they all jump and hide behind some rocks

Pyrrha: "What do we do?" Jaune looks over the rocks and sees Brawnz, Nolan and Roy running towards them

Jaune: "Spread out! Try to keep moving!" He yells and then blocks an attack from Brawnz

May jumps onto another branch as Ren and Nolan come to a standoff. Nolan looks behind him and nods his head at May and she starts shooting at Ren to distract him. Nolan runs at him and Ren tries to roundhouse kick him, but Nolan ducks under it and uses his weapon on Ren and tasers him

Nora: "Ren!"

Nora then runs at Nolan and swings her hammer at him, but he dodges it. Nora spins around to try and hit him again, but he uses his weapon her, and Nora just grins at him when he does

Port(P.A.): "Ohh! It looks one of my favourite students, Nora Valkyrie, is charging up to use her semblance!"

Nolan: "What?"

Oobleck(P.A.): "Yes! Miss Valkyrie's semblance lets her produce, as well as channel electrical energy straight to her muscles. This allows her to jump explosively into the air with her mighty hammer, or in this case, absorb Nolan's attack and send the young man flying!"

Nolan: "What?!"

Up in the stands

Tucker: "Well, he's dead" He comments and the rest of team blue nods

Back to the match, Nolan stops tasing Nora and her body is now radiating a pink glow, and Nolan takes a step back with his hands up and a scared look on his face. In the blink of an eye, Nora rushes at Nolan and hits him with her hammer, sending him flying into a boulder and breaking it upon impact. Jaune watched from afar, and then turns around to the mountain behind him and sees thunder clouds forming. He then turns to Nora
