3rd pov
The camera opens to teams rwby, blue, and red in the ballroom as they're helping set up for the dance. The camera pans over to blue team as Wash and Carolina help move tables with Grif and Simmons while Tucker helps Donut carry bowls for snacks and setting them down on a table.....well, Tucker was carrying all of them while Donut is only carrying one
Wash: "Carolina?"
Carolina: "Yeah?"
Wash: "Can I ask you something about the dance, tomorrow night?" He asks as they set down the table they were carrying
Red team, minus Asher, Tucker and Donut stop what they're doing and turn to watch them
Carolina: "Yeah, what's up?"
Wash: "Well–uh–do you...do you want to go with me?" He asks making Carolina's eyes widen in surprise
As red team and Tucker watch, Tucker, Simmons, and Grif were half expecting Wash to get rejected. But what Carolina says next is not what they were expecting
Carolina: "Yeah, sure, I'll go with you"
Wash: "Wait. You will?"
Carolina: *smiles* "Yeah"
Wash: *smiles* "Okay"
Carolina turns around and walks off to help Yang. When she's out of hearing range
Wash: *pumps fist* "YES!"
Tucker: "Nice, Wash" He pats Wash's shoulder
Grif: *sarcastic* "Yeah, good for you" *normally* "Now that that's over, get over here and help us with this"
Wash: "Right" he goes over and helps carry the table
The camera moves over to Caleb as he watched what happened while doing bicep curls with a table, he smiles to himself under his helmet. He finally got his bandages off
Caleb: 'CarWash forever.....is that a good name? I feel like it's a good name'
His gaze moves over to Ruby as she sits at a table with a glum look on her face. He puts down the table and straightens it and goes over to Ruby and sits down next to her with a red solo cup in his hand
Caleb: "H-Hey, Ruby, what's wrong?" He stuttered nervously, Ruby turns and sees him
Ruby: "Oh, hey Caleb. It's nothing" she slumps back on the table
Caleb looks at Ruby and and puts his hand on her shoulder, Ruby blushes from the sudden contact and turns to him
Caleb: "You're still worried about Blake, aren't you?"
Ruby: *sighs* "Yeah. We tried to get her to take a break, but...she turned us away"
Caleb blushes as he slowly puts his arm around her shoulder and rubs her head with his other hand to comfort her, Ruby blushes too under his touch
