The scene opens to child Caleb walking up to a cliff side, following behind his dad

Michael: "This is what I wanted to show you, Caleb"

Caleb pulls down the hood of his coat and looks up. His eyes widen when he sees the view overlooking the whole city of Atlas, with the sun rising in the distance. A tear actually escapes his eye, he wipes it away and looks at it weirdly, wondering why he's crying

Michael: "Caleb"

Caleb: "Y-Yes?"

Michael: "What do you think being a huntsman means?"

Caleb: "A huntsman fights the grimms, and keeps everyone safe" he answers

Michael: *chuckles* "A huntsman does more than kill grimm, son. I want you to tell me what you think being a huntsman is really about"

Caleb looks back at the horizon and thinks about what his dad said. What is being a huntsman really about? His mind suddenly flashed to the day he decided he wanted to be a huntsman. What he felt

Caleb: "A huntsman...helps make everyone feel...not scared anymore. And they make everyone feel brave instead" He says

Michael looks at Caleb and Caleb turns to him and looks down at the snow, thinking he said the wrong thing. Michael just smiles and crouches to Caleb's height and puts a hand on his head

Michael: "That's right. Caleb, I want you to remember this moment, right here and now. I want you to remember to never look back. When you look back, you see the sufferings you went through, and each time you could have avoided it if you possibly could"

Michael puts his hands on both of Caleb's shoulders

Michael: "It's okay to use the hard times in the past to push you forward, Caleb. But I want you to promise me you'll never look back, everything happens for a reason. The only time you should ever look back, is to see how far you've come. I want you to use the hard times in the past to help you keep your head up and move forward. So say it, say you'll never look back at the past"

Caleb: "Don't ever...go backwards" Michael just smiles and chuckles

Michael: "Always remember this, Caleb. If you have the power, you can fight the storm. And don't let anyone make you feel as if you're weak or unworthy. Those that do are just not strong enough to handle greatness. Be proud and remember who you are"

Michael then hugs Caleb who hugs back. He pulls away and looks him in the eyes

Michael: "I'm happy that you want to be a huntsman, Caleb. And I'm even happier to take you onto the battlefield. But let's face it, it's you against you out there. That's why I want you to remember this moment"

Caleb: "It's...me...against me"

Michael: "That's right. Out there on the battlefield, when you think you can't go on, you have to ask yourself 'who am I?' and always remember why you're here. You might lose some people along the way. But they can still help you. By you remembering that you're fighting for them"

Caleb: "What do you mean 'you might lose some people along the way'?"

Michael: "It doesn't matter right now. Now come on, the bullhead's gonna leave soon and I want you to meet some old friends of mine"

Michael stands up and holds his hand out to Caleb for him to grab and they both leave
