(Dipper pov)

I wake up peeking my head up out of the water seeing no sign of Bill but there is a towel and a pile of folded clothes nearby which I guess are supposed to be meant for me.

I manage to get out of the barrell on my own and land on the towel using it to dry my tail off. I bite down hard on my bottom lip trying not to scream in pain again as the tail turns to legs once again, the scales once again feeling like they are stabbing themselves back into my skin.

Once the pain is gone I pull the clothes on as I rise to my feet. Not even bothering with boots this time I exit the room and find my way onto the main deck.

"There you are, Pinetree." I jump slightly as he comes up beside me pulling me over to the railing. I look out and recognize the island, realizing that we're back where he first found me. "You recognize this place?"

"That's the island I was trying to get to when you kidnapped me."

"Now where from here is your colony?"

"Um...." I look into the water trying to look for any familiar landmarks but I can't recognize anything from above the water like this. "I don't know."

He groans slightly and very annoyed. "How the fuck can you still not know?"

"I've told you many times already. I can't tell from above the water like this. I only know how to get back there it I'm in the water."

He stands behind me not saying anything for a while but I feel him put a necklace around my neck before he tightly grips my shoulders, his fingers digging into the shirt. I look down at the necklace, seeing it's a yellow triangle hung around my neck with a leather chord.

"You will find that colony of yours and I will know exactly where to find you. You and those other monsters can't hide from me....revenge will finally be mine...." Without warning he shoves me over the railing.

"Ah!" I barely manage to scream before I hit the water with a loud and painful SMACK!

As soon as I hit the water I quickly kick the pants off of me just as the pain hits and I have to do everything in my power to not scream in pain knowing that my gills aren't opend up yet.

Once my tail and gills are back and I'm finally able to breathe again I swim down away from the island and deeper into the ocean as I strip the shirt off.

I have to get to the colony and warn them about Bill. Maybe I can get them to evacuate before he figures out where they are.

Glancing around I recognize the cave I had been hiding in, it now nothing but a pile of rock, and at once I know which way to go.

Swimming as fast as I can and weaving in and out of different things to confuse Bill and hopefully make myself harder to follow after many many many hours I finally make it back to the colony.

The minute I am back in the colony walls I get tackled into a hug, a mess of brown curly tangled hair blocking my vision but I know instantly who this is.

"Nice to see you too, Mable. But I need to breathe and you are hugging me really tight."

"Sorry sorry." She lets go and I'm finally able to breathe again. "I am just so glad to have you back. I thought I would never see you again."

"I know but Mable listen to me. I don't think we have much time before-"

A rock comes out of nowhere and hits the side of my head hard. I put a hand on it feeling it bleeding. "I thought I told you to stay the fuck away, weakling."

I groan slightly, having really been hoping to avoid this asshole. "Jackson, now is really not a good fucking time."

"Why now? Didn't you tell him the good news, sweetie?"

I look at Mable and notice the pearl on her finger. "Mable?"

"He asked....and mother thought it would me a good fit because he's one of the strongest in the hunting party. You were gone. You know how dangerous it is around here for females, especially ones that aren't mated."

"So you are taking that asshole as a mate?"

"I was scared someone would try to hurt me and you weren't here to protect me."

I take a few breathes so I won't lose my cool, not wanting to get in a fight about this. It wasn't the place or time.

"Look right now that isn't important. We need to get everyone in the colony to leave. It isn't safe. There is-"

Jackson's hand wraps around my throat tightly cutting off my words and air supply. "The only one who is going to be leaving the colony is you."

"Jackson stop please! You're hurting him!"

I weakly struggling trying to get his hand off of me when a crossbow bolt goes through his neck, stopping inches from my face.

There is one moment of silence before Mabel's screams alert everyone around to the danger, a giant shadow covering the entire colony.
