(Dipper pov)
I lean against the railing being bored as I mess with the triangle necklace that I still wore. I don't know why I still chose to wear it but I just did. I get pulled out of my thoughts feeling his arms around me and his chin on my head. "Hey Pinetree."
"You never really explained how you had used this in order to find me."
"Oh that's easy. I simply enchanted it so no matter what I would know where you were at all times."
"You knew that I would try and warn the colony about you."
"Yup. You said yourself that you wouldn't be able to find them unless you were in the water and I knew the minute you went in the water you weren't going to come back willingly."
"Then why haven't I tried to leave again?"
"That part I haven't figured out yet."
I turn around to face him as he looks down at me. "Why do you keep someone like me around? You hate sirens. And I'm useless to the other sirens. I can't sing-"
"Hey, you want to hear someone who really can't sing then listen to Tad sing. Seiously it is like nails on a fucking chalkboard with that guy." This makes me laugh slightly. "Just because your voice doesn't do what it should doesn't mean you can't sing. And you can do something no other siren can do. You can walk amongst the humans and other creatures on land."
"Why have you keps me around, Bill?"
"Because I'm fond of you, Pinetree."
"You're only fond of me because I look human like this."
"Not at all. I am fond of every part of you. From your scaly skin and fins, all the way down to your fin-tastic tail." I smile a bit at this as I stand on the railing as he holds my hand. I balance as we walk, him on the deck and me on the rail. "Would you mind singing me something again?"
"You must really like hearing my voice a lot. This is the third time you've asked."
"What can I say? I simply like what I like." I let go of his hand as I walk a bit ahead of him.
"I'm feeling good today
Ain't nothing standing in my way
I wouldn't change a thing
I'm up sky-high, walkin' in a dreamEverybody wants to stop and stare
People talk but I don't care
Everybody wants to stop and stare
People talk but I don't careIt don't matter what you see
There's no one I'd rather be
Take me as I am, this is me
There's no one I would rather beIt don't matter
It don't matter to me
It don't matter
Take me as I am, this is meI learned to let it go
'Cause I'm comfortable in my own skin
I learned to dance in the shoes I'm inEverybody wants to stop and stare
People talk but I don't care
Everybody wants to stop and stare
People talk but I don't careIt don't matter what you see
There's no one I'd rather be
Take me as I am, this is me
There's no one I would rather beIt don't matter
It don't matter to me
It don't matter
Take me as I am, this is meI'm comfortable in my own skin
Learned to dance in the shoes I'm in
I'm comfortable in my own skin
I learned to dance
I learned to danceIt don't matter what you see
There's no one I'd rather be
Take me as I am, this is me
There's no one I would rather beIt don't matter
It don't matter to me
It don't matter
Take me as I am, this is me"He smiles as I jump off the railing and back onto the deck but his smile fades as he looks past me. I look behind me and my eyes widen seeing another pirate ship that pulls up along Bill's.
He grabs me and we both hit the deck just as the other ship's cannons go off.
