I woke up the next morning in bed alone which I knew was how I fell asleep I had just hoped Bucky would come to bed with me once he came back from leaving. I knew I had shocked him but to the point of leaving the house caught me off guard. Last time Bucky left he left and went to Wakanda which panicked me. I got up and went to his room and saw he was sitting on the edge of the bed.
"Hey." I said and he looked up at me.
"You didn't come to bed last night." I said and he sighed.
"Nessa..." Bucky said and the tone in his voice brought tears to my eyes.
"No Bucky." I said annoyed.
"You don't even know what I was going to say." Bucky said.
"I just don't want to hear it if it's about you leaving. I can't deal with that Bucky." I said and he shook his head.
"I'm not leaving Nessa." Bucky said, I went and crouched down in front of him.
"Bucky, I know this wasn't planned and I know it's a lot to take in but I'm happy. I want a family with you and I am getting it now. You are scared and I understand that but I we can take this on together." I said and Bucky sighed.
"I want this with you two Nessa. I thought we had more time but it's here and now." Bucky said and I nodded.
"This baby is on its way, will be here before we know it." I said and placed my hand on my stomach. Bucky grabbed my hands and stood me up. Once I was up he pulled me between his legs and rested his forehead against my stomach and sighed. I placed my hand on his head and ran my fingers through his hair. I then felt his lips gently kiss my stomach.
"I love you." Bucky said and I smiled.
"Me or the baby?" I asked and Bucky smiled and looked up at me.
"Both of you." Bucky said and I smiled. He pulled away then reached in his pocket and pulled out the velvet ring box.
"I ask you again and hope to get an answer that isn't shocking." Bucky said and I giggled.
"Nessa, will you marry me?" Bucky said and opened the ring box.
"Yes." I said and Bucky smiled. He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me to him and we crashed back on the bed and we laughed. I handed Bucky my left hand and he placed the ring on my finger and I smiled. He placed his left hand on my stomach and I smiled.
"This baby is going to love you so much." I said and Bucky smiled.
"How do you know?" Bucky asked.
"Because I love you and so does everyone else. Bucky, you are loved by everyone in the family and this baby will be no exception." I said and Bucky smiled. I sighed and Bucky looked up at me as he rubbed my stomach.
"I have one more surprise for you...." I said and Bucky got a panicked look on his face.
"It's twins?!" Bucky asked shocked and I laughed.
"That I don't know about that because I need to go to the doctor but no that wasn't it. I took a big step for our future the other day and bought a house." I said and Bucky sat up.
"You bought us a house?" Bucky asked shocked.
"Yes. The house down the street." I said and Bucky laughed.
"Nessa...." Bucky said and I smiled as he passionately kissed me.
"So in 24 hours I have found out I am going to be a dad, got a fiancé and she just informed me she bought us a house." Bucky said and I laughed.
