Sophia was in the end successful with persuading the girl into returning with them. Afterall, it was her job to convince her that they were on her side. She was as stubborn as she thought she would be, other than that the girl gave very little out of herself, she was indeed a mistery for anyone who would want to get to know her. Though there was something about her eyes. They were a bright brown color, unlike any other and they had a certain glow in them. Every time the girl looked at her she was amazed by her beauty. It was clear that she was indeed not from this world.

"Now, would you please tell me what's going on?" Her voice was tiresome, without any evidence of real curiosity. But deep down, Sophia knew she was burning to know what all the recent events meant.

Sophia licked her lips. "It is hard to explain such things... Would you trust us with bringing you to a safer place?"

The girl lifted her head up, frowning. "Isn't this place safe enough?"

"Not for this kind of mater." She insisted into bringing her back to their High Quarters, outside the city walls. She hated this, playing around with her like she was some kind of toy, but she kept telling herself that it was for the best to keep the girl safe. This city was doomed and out of hand by the AP. It was a great loss but this was no time to regret it.

"I know this is all confusing, but trust me. The place where we are taking you is much safer than your previous home."

"Previous? You mean I'm not going back?"

Sophia shook her head. "Not if you're lucky."

"But what of all the other people, the ones that survived?"

Sophia glanced at Sebastian, who was up until now quietly listening in the corner of the room. They exchanged a confidential look. She waited for him to respond and when he nodded with his head very slightly, she turned her attention back to the confused girl.

"Listen to me very carefully now. You might not like this what I will tell you now, but you need to realize that we are here only to save you." The girl nodded. "And try to be... reasonable, hm?" The girl nodded again, this time more firmly.

"Very well... So, as we already told you, we were sent here to save you. This... recent Clearence was planned for a long time and there was nothing my organization could do to prevent it."

"Your organization?"

"Yes, we'll come to that later. As I was saying... As soon as we learned about the upcoming Clearence, we were sent to escort you back to safety. Back to our Head Quarters. We were keeping a close eye on you ever since."

"But why? Why did they send you to save me?"

"Because you are playing a great role in saving our planet."

The girl frowned again, not looking convinced by anything Sophia has told her about.

"We were told that earth cannot be saved anymore."

Sophia couldn't help but smile. "Who said anything about earth?"

*~*~*

While they were making their way towards the wall, Raven couldn't stop the racing thoughts in her mind. What was she doing and why was she trusting these people? The story the woman told her earlier was nearly... unbelievable. To be the one to save an entire planet? She was an orphan who barely managed to stay alive, and now she was all of a sudden an important object which could save a planet. The planet not being earth wasn't making things any easier.

How could there be another planet out there, a planet that was inhabitable? And the more important question, how were the humans able to reach the other planet? She knew there were a lot of things which the Grand Palace and the Higher Staff kept hidden from the common folk, but this information... It was a little too much for her to process. A whole new world has opened up to Raven, and that was one of the reason why she believed that woman. This was a chance to get out of her reality, to break out of the life that has been suffocating her for so many years. This was a chance to live in an adventure and the only thing she couldn't believe was that it was happening to her.

She thought about her home, the old building and all the people that have been living there with her. What would befall them? Will the military police terminate each and everyone of them? Would the old man be executed, the mother with the babe, and Anna and the other children she grew so fond of? Her heart ached at the thought of these people dying... And like she made it with all the things that made her heart ache, she pushed that thoughts deep inside her to stop hurting her too much.

She turned her attention back to the woman that was leading them to the wilderness.

"So, this organizations of yours... What is it doing exactly?"

"It used to be an organization which researched the life on the planet I told you about. It led a program for humans to adapt on the planet's climate and... surroundings."

"But it's not doing that now?"

"No," she shook hear head. "We turned our attention into keeping the planet safe."

"When did you find the planet? And how is it that nobody knows of it?"

"The planet was discovered 87 years ago. We kept it in secret for the well being of earth... And I thank god every day it happened so. The other organization that was handling the whole project became violent in handling the planet's surroundings, so they needed to be eliminated. We were planning on building another place for where the people would live, if the earth came into more crytical problems. After the problems we were facing on the planet because of the other organization we decided that it is for the best for the planet to be known only by few individuals."

"So you decided that the people on the earth weren't worth saving?"

The woman stopped and turned slowly around to face Raven.

"Earth and it's inhabitants were lost long before we discovered the new planet. We want it untouched by the greed that drives people."

"Then why do you need me to save it?"

The woman's lips turned into a thin line.

"You will learn soon enough."

They soon came to the wall and they were at the exact same spot where Raven used to sneak out.

"How did you know this was here?"

"Who do you think made this gap?"

The woman winked at her and Raven couldn't help but embrace the smile that escaped from her mouth.

When they found themselves outside the city walls, Raven needed to look back at the city. She thought that this might be the last time she saw it. She gazed at the view trying to memorize as many details as possible. After all, this was the place where she grew up in and became the person she was now.

Suddenly she heard a loud motor-like noise coming their way. Turning back, she noticed a vehicle approaching. They waited for it to come to them. As the car was slowing down it made a great dust cloud form all around it, making the three of them cough violently.

The man in the military suit was first to get in the car, then the woman soon followed him.

Raven glanced at the city one more time, saddened by the thought of leaving it.

"Ready?" The woman prompted her.
Raven took a deep breath before turning to her, nodding and then entering the car for herself.

As they drove off, she finally realized that she was indeed now starting an adventure. Strangely, it wasn't as thrilling as she thought it would be.
