Note: I've been wanting to write this kind of Season 9 AU for a while now. Figured now was a good as time as any to try.

Caging dangerous people is essential to society, some might say.

But when you cage an innocent person, an innocent person who posses immense fighting ability and a soul unlike any other.

You set the stage for a storm unlike anyone has ever seen before

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------'And they shall feel the wrath of a woman who's desperate to escape.' Hetty thought, sharpening the putty knife that a kind nurse had snuck her the best that she could.

3 months ago, all she had wanted to do was have a man that she had known back during the war set free. But it had turned out to be a trap, meant for her.

The last 3 months had been a series of being fed terrible food, pushed around, beaten, laughed at. And the word around was that she was only being kept alive so she could be sold to a human trafficker.

'Sold. Like I'm nothing but property instead of a human being! Makes me want to go on a rampage!' She angrily thought. 'Well, that all ends today!'

It was 1 very risky attempt at freedom. It involved the nurse drugging a lot of the guards, installing a bomb in a secure place and pressing the switch and fleeing within a few minutes.

'I cannot wait for my team to save me. They might be too late.' Hetty thought as she put her knife away, and sighed contently.

'What's on your mind?' Keane asked.

'Nothing much.' Hetty replied.

Then the nurse named Jack rushed into her cell and handed her a gun and some knives.

'How well can you fight with that bruise so close to your eye?' Jack asked.

'We're about to find out. How well did that gas work?'

'Pretty well. Got the bomb set up in the shed. Let's get you there quickly.'

Then they rushed off. And while on their way to the shed, Hetty just flung knives at very passed out or semi awake guard that she saw without hesitating.

'I don't think that's really necessary!' Keane pointed out.

'It's called escape, my dear! Don't leave any crumbs behind!' Hetty sternly replied back.

After kniving and shooting their way to the shed, Hetty activated the bomb and they rushed off to 1 of the Humvees.

'Who do you think you are?! Do you really think you can escape so easily, Princess?!' The bitch responsible for the 3 months of hell shouted.

Hetty turned and faced her captor, and shouted out as loud as she could:

'My name is Henrietta Lange, AND I'M NO ONE'S PROPERTY!'

Then she shot the bitch 2 times in the leg.

After the Humvee got a reasonable distance away, the whole camp exploded in a huge blaze.

'Was the blast supposed to be that powerful?' Jack asked.

'I added some things to it. I wanted to be sure I got them all.' Hetty unapoligetically responded.

The way she said it made the boys shiver a bit.

They drove all day before eventually making camp.

They all agreed that 1 of them had to keep watch for a few hours while the other 2 slept. Hetty offered the first watch. 'Too amped up to sleep. Plus, I napped for a bit.' She said.

Keane asked Jack how Hetty was really feeling to see if she was really okay.

'I think the adrenaline rush is why she's still going. She's pretty weak, actually. Slightly cracked rib, a nasty looking bruise so close to her left eye, clearly hasn't been fed much in the last few days, and her tired looking eyes definitely say that she either hasn't slept well in a long while or she hasn't slept much at all. These awful people did a number on her.' Jack said, worried.

The truth was, Hetty didn't want to sleep much because she was afraid of reliving the pain and trauma in her sleep. And she knew that she still wasn't safe, so she had to stay alert.

'I'll sleep when I'm safe.' she told herself. 'I'm not dying in this godforsaken country!'

She didn't even know that she had dozed off for a bit until Jack shook her awake.

She crawled into the Humvee and went back to sleep, even though she didn't want to sleep.
