Chapter eight.

Chantal Rae Byrne

I was finally left alone in a room with the four boys of 5 Seconds of Summer.

When I wasn't facing them, I can hear them whispering to each other but I cannot understand a word.

I can also feel that they're nudging each other and soft laughter was obvious.

I turned around to face them and they suddenly stopped. I shoot them a confused look and laughed faintly at their behavior.

"So Chantal! Where are you from?"

Michael started the conversation before we took a seat.

Michael, Luke and I were sitting in the same couch while Calum and Ashton were seating on another one.

"Well I'm currently living in Sydney because of my studies but I'm originally from Newcastle. Oh and you can just call me 'Rae'."

"If your name is Chantal, then why is your nickname Rae?" Calum asked curiously.

"Oh my god Calum, you can't just ask people why their nickname is Rae." Luke spatted at him.

"No its okay." I said to Luke before I continued

"It's because its my second name so I prefer to be called that."

"Sick name." Michael commented.

"Thanks."

"Like Jasey Rae!" Luke exclaimed excitedly like a child.

The three boys just gave him a disapproving look.

"No? Okay..."

I looked at Ashton who was silent the whole time but he was obviously listening to our conversation.

"How old are you?" Luke asked.

"Nineteen." I answered then Michael and Calum gave me a high five.

"Nineteen squad." Michael said. So the three of us are nineteen then.

"Well how old is Luke and.. Ashton?"

I hesitantly said Ashton's name because he looked like he doesn't want to be bothered right now and Luke answered the question for me.

"I'm still eighteen and Ashton is twenty."

I just nodded in response.

They kept throwing questions to me like

"How is it being a female human being?"

or

"Do you like cheese steaks and Will Smith?"

but I answered them politely as much as possible.

They were also really funny so I kept laughing during our conversations too.

Michael was the loud one and he always bullies Luke which I found funny.

Calum is the chill one and Luke was the one closest to being normal except he has those long legs longer than a lamp post and Ashton?

I don't know..

The quiet one?

"Is it okay if we give you a tour around here so you can meet our tour staff?" Luke offered.

"Sure!" I said excitedly.

"Leggo!" Calum blurted out as we stood up to leave the room.

When we were all standing, I noticed our height differences.
