My legs are already running towards her before I even know it. She runs up to me and I wrap my arms around her. "Oh my god nelz I missed you so much!" I say to her as tears stream down both of our faces. "I missed you so much to Vanessa!" She replies. Someone clears their throat awkwardly, and we pull apart. "Sorry to interrupt your little love fest" Klay says chuckling. "But how do you two know each other?" I playfully roll my eyes at what klay said and wipe my tears. Steph comes and wraps his arm around my waist and waits for an answer. "Well anela and I were best friends growing up. We lived right next to each other till the 7th grade. Then my mom died of a stroke and I had to move to California from Florida." I say looking down a little. Stephen pulls me into a hug and we go and sit down at one of the tables. Klay and anela come and sit next to us. "Sooo Vanessa what are you doing now?" Anela asks me. "Well I actually got a job working with sports related injuries!" I tell her. she gasps. "That's what you wanted to do! Where do you work?" She asks. "I actually work with these idiots" I say pointing to Stephen. He puts a shocked face on. "I really don't know what you are talking about." He says playfully. I roll my eyes and turn my attention back to anela. "So anela what are you doing these days?" I ask. I big smile forms on her face when I ask. "Well I was recently drafted into the nba!" She yells excitedly. We jump up and hug again. "Oh my god what team?" I ask her. "The golden state warriors!" She yells. "It's gonna be just like old times." I say. "What do you mean like old times?" Klay asks. "Well growing up Vanessa would come to my basketball games and practices and whenever I would get hurt or anyone on my team would get hurt she'd be the first one by My side." Anela says smiling. "Yea I would always go to her basketball games and she would always come to my soccer games." I say smiling.
For the next 3 hours everybody laughed and just had an amazing time. I exchanged numbers with anela and me and Steph decided to go home.

The next day Steph said he was going out and I decided to stay home. I was trying to do some cleaning around my house when my phone would not stop beeping. I looked at it and it was anela calling me. I pick up the phone and answer. "Hey Vanessa what cha doing?" "Im just cleaning my house. What about you?" "Nothing just watching tv." "You can come over if you want". "I'd love to. I'll be there I. 10 minutes." She hangs up the phone and go into my living room and watch tv. 10 minutes later there's a knock at the door and I answer it. Anela walks in with basketball shorts on and a under armor muscle shirt. "Hey girl" she says and we hug. We go into the living room and watch tv. The gossip news comes on and we start watching. "So basketball star Stephen Curry has been seen around town with this mysterious girl." The announcer says. Then they show a girl with black hair and light brown skin color with Steph. The worst part wasn't that he was just with her but he was kissing her cheek and they were hugging.
