Mckenzie's P.O.V
"Woah watch where you ar- Kenzie?!" Luke helped me up, off of the ground. I gave him a quick smile, trying to hide my blotchy, mess of a face as well as I possibly could. "What happened? Where are all your friends? Where is Frankie?" He asked.
"KENZIE?!" I heard Frankie and Addison shout from down the hallway, I turned to see them running towards me.
"I'll pick you up after school and drop you home. I'll tell you everything then" I started running away from them.
I guess you could say I look quite grown up for my age. Nobody ever thinks anything of it when I'm seen outside of school, during school hours. I just look like an ordinary woman in her early 20's. I started walking as soon as I got out of the school gates.
I went to Starbucks. I ordered and once I got my drink I sat at a table. The little bell rung, indicating that someone had entered the shop. My eyes shot to the door. Great, just great. I told you, I just have the best luck.
Guess who walked in, go on. Take a wild guess.

My mom; my aunt; my grandparents and my dad, who I'm guessing came back from his meeting.
I grabbed the menu from the table and hid my face behind it. I saw them order, pay, get their drinks then look around for a table. Obviously the only free table was the one directly in front of mine.
"So... What are you going to do about Tj?" My grandma asked.
"I don't know" Mom sighed "Lucas seems to make her feel better, we could get him to come over after school, I'm sure Kenzie wouldn't mind walking with him" dad chipped in.
"How's Kenzie doing?" grandad asked.
"She's doing well, at least I think. Our children aren't very open with us" dad chuckled. I saw my aunts head looking around the room. It stopped, looking at my menu.
I gulped. I realised that my nails were showing to them. My aunt and I did our nails last night and she failed on a few of them. She hopefully wouldn't notice.
"Mckenzie Rose Mendes!" She yelled, not interrupting everyone around us, just me and my family that she was sharing a table with.
{I don't know if I gave her a middle name but it's Rose now}
I put the menu down and all of their eyes widened.
"Explain yourself" my dad commanded.
"It's lunch break, I'm aloud to be here" I shrugged.
"Alone?" Mom raised an eyebrow.
"You don't need to worry about that" I looked down.
"Come on, let's get you back to school. Lunch break is nearly over" dad looked at his watch "I'll be back in a few minutes" he kissed Mom and pulled me, gently by my arm, out to his car.
"I'm disappointed in you Mckenzie"
That's the worse thing that an adult, or your parent, can ever say to you. They can tell you you're useless, worthless, whatever but nothing compares to when they say they're disappointed in you. It's like everything you've done to try and impress them has been thrown out the window. Completely gone.
When I got back into the school I walked, through the empty corridor, to my last period. These are the same seats as home room. So I'm on a table with Addison and Frankie. I can barely contain my excitement. (Note the sarcasm)
I stood at the door for a few seconds, questioning weather I should go in or not. I finally managed to push through the door and enter the classroom.
My teacher smiled at me. Since what happened this morning, she's being nice to me. I awkwardly sat next to Frankie. Both him and Addison turned to me. The whole lesson they were trying to apologise, trying to make me at least look at them. I just carried on with my worksheet. This is gonna be a long lesson.
