Imogen's P.O.V
**3 months later**
The doctor held the 6lb 9oz baby in his arms before handing him over to Shawn.
"What would you like to call her??" He questioned.
We looked into each others eyes and smiled. I looked at the doctor.
"McKenzie May Mendes" I said as Shawn handed me the tiny baby.
I looked at her beautiful face. I couldn't see her eyes because she hasn't opened them yet but she had Shawn's nose and my small pea head.
She had quite long hair for someone who's just been born😂. Her hair was dark brown as both mine and Shawn's hair was that colour.
My thoughts were interrupted by Pia running in the room and dragging all the boys behind her.
"Oh my gosh!! Immy, she's adorable" Pia said as quietly as she could. I handed her the tiny little baby and Shawn's parents walked through the door. His mom started crying and they pasted the baby round so everyone could hold her.
"What did you call her??" Shawn's mom asked as Nash and Cam pulled funny faces at McKenzie.
"M-McKenzie" I mumbled and Pia looked up at me and smiled. I smiled back and one by one everyone left. It was just Shawn, McKenzie and I.
The hospital bed it massive so i budged up a bit and Shawn slid in next to me. McKezie was laying gently in between us and we were both laying on our sides, facing each other. Our foreheads were touching and we were just lying there. It was silent. Not awkward silence but peaceful silence.
We are going home tomorrow morning and I'm super excited. Pia has been working on the nursery and we haven't been aloud to see it. She would come round every weekend and take breaks to go shopping. I had to go with her and pick the furniture I wanted. I know just from the furniture that it will look amazingly cute.
I was falling asleep when I heard Shawn whisper.
"I love you so much, I know you don't know who I am but I'm going to be the best daddy in the world" I smiled and I heard him kiss her lightly then place his head back on the pillow.
**Morning**
I opened my eyes to see Shawn sleeping in the chair beside the bed with our baby in his arms. I got out of the hospital bed and crept over to the bathroom and did my business. I applied light makeup and put on some black legging, a white baggy top, one of Shawn's Hoodies and my tan timberlands.
I walked back out to see Shawn talking to McKenzie. I smiled at them and went to my bag, putting my makeup bag in it.
"Okay, you stay here and I'll go sign you out" Shawn handed her to me.
"Okay, don't be long, I want to see my other baby (Daisy)" I laughed and he scurried out of the room.
He came back and we walked outside to the car with Kenzie in he car seat carrier thing. We attached it to the base that was sat in the passenger seat of the car. I walked round and got in the back. Shawn sat in the drivers seat and we set off back home. It was a 30 minute drive and we stopped to get McDonald's for breakfast 😏👌.
When we walked into the house we laughed at all the sleeping bodies. I placed the car seat carrier down on the floor and ran and picked up my baby (Daisy) she started barking quietly and the boys all opened their eyes and sat up.
Pia ran straight to the sleeping baby and just admired her.
I put Daisy in her cage.
"We are going out later for dinner, girls start getting ready, we'll look after McKenzie" Jack and Shawn chimed, grinning at us. We eyed them up suspiciously then shrugged and walked up the stairs. Pia still wouldn't let me in McKezie's room but I'm okay with that, she was staying in mine and Shawn's room for a few months anyway.
We went into my room and I grabbed a dress for Pia from the spare draw in our wardrobe that was filled with Pia's clothes for if she ever stays round, she does that a lot.
We went into the bathroom and washed our hair over the bath (you know, not naked, just with their hair over the bath).
We put on our dresses and shoes. I put on my rose gold bracelet and my engagement ring. Pia put on her black rose earrings and her promise ring from Jack (outfits above) I was surprised at how long we took, it was already 17:00. We curled the ends of each other's hair and did waterfall braids on each other.
It was nice to spent a bit of one on one time with Pia, since she started dating Jack and I got busy with everything we haven't spent as much time together.
We walked downstairs and let the boys go and freshen up a bit.
They came back downstairs and Shawn intertwined his fingers with mine. I was looking at McKenzie.
"She's perfect" I said, under my breathe.
"She gets that from you, my lovely" Shawn smirked and I kissed him.
"I love you Shawn" I whispered.
"I love you more" he whispered back.
"Impossible" I smirked.
"Nothing's impossible Imogen"
Why is he so cute??
We all walked out the apartment building and got in the three cars and headed to the restaurant. We didn't book out the restaurant but it doesn't matter.
There were some fans that came up to us and said hello to Kenzie (Kenzie is McKenzie's nickname (if that wasn't obvious))
We returned home and sat around. McKenzie fell asleep in my arms then I fell asleep. I could see the flashes on their phones through my closed eyes but I ignored it and fell back into a deep sleep.
