"That asshole," Vergil said to himself,as he clasped his injured arm and was limping his way home from school. Well;by home,it was really a Local Church. After Vergil's family was massacred during the Slaughter of Hiroko,a priest by the name of "Father Kirin",took him in as his own and swore to protect him for as long as he lived. "Who the hell does he think he is?" he spoke again out loud to himself. Vergil's words were aimed and Toruho. Toruho [or,Turrent as his little gang calls him] had demanded that Vergil had better give him all the money he had on him. Vergil refused;and well, shit happened. After Vergil had finally arrived at the Church,he threw the doors open wide and stormed through the main reception.

"How was your day,Vergil?" asked one of the priests as Vergil stomped past him.

"Piss off!" shouted Vergil in return.

THWACKFather Kirin had seemingly appeared out of no-where,and slapped Vergil around his face for his misbehaviour.

"Vergil," he began. "That man you just shouted at is a priest within my ranks and under my counsel. He deserves your respect, and I want you to apologise to him." Vergil wiped the tears of pain from his eyes.

"Y-Yes,Father!"Vergil got up and turned to face the priest he had just shouted at. "I'm very sorry,Sir. I meant no disrespect." Vergil said, timidly. The priest bowed, with a smile on his face and carried on walking past Kirin, whispering something into the Father's ear.

"Go easy on him,Kirin. It's quite obvious he's had a bit of a...bad day." the Priest said, signalling toward Vergil's injuries. Kirin turned to Vergil after the priest had walked away, and he gently placed his hand upon his cheek.

"I apologise for earlier,Vergil. You didn't deserve that. What on Earth happened to your arm?!" Kirin exclaimed, examining the heavy bruising on Vergil's right arm.

"That asshole;Toruho, from school!" said Vergil, grasping his injured arm. Kirin frowned.

"I'm sorry to hear that. Y-You didn't hit him back, did you-"

"He's in Hospital." Vergil said abruptly, smiling slightly. Father Kirin's frown intensified.

"Vergil,that's against the Lord's will-"

"I apologise for betraying the words of a fucking fairy-tale."

Father Kirin swung his hand at Vergil again, but this time he ducked underneath it. He turned to look at Kirin;with hate burning in his eyes, before turning away and walking towards his room.

"Vergil,I-"

"Don't bother." spat Vergil in return. He yanked open his bedroom door, and slammed it behind him. He leapt onto his bed, looking around aimlessly, looking for something-anything,to kill his-

"Boredom." Vergil said out loud, hating the way it tasted on his tongue. He glared directly opposite him,at his large poster of SlipKnoT,along with his Guitar, his amp,and a computer table, fitted with a custom built PC,built by

"Your's truly" he said again out loud, laughing slightly. He had loved SlipKnoT for many years, and the Metal Genre itself. He doesn't have friends,as he considers the three people closest to him as family. Shade,Veronica and Rose. His friends;or rather;family, since as far back as he could remember. Shade;his best friend,is the bassist for their band,Rose plays the Keyboard, and Veronica plays the Drums. Vergil plays the Guitar, and he sings. Or,as the people of the Church deem it,"Worshipping the Devil,we must pray for the boy, blah blah blah blah"

"I don't need your fucking prayers." scoffed Vergil.

He got up and turned on his computer, sitting down on his chair. Vergil did as he always did, check his YouTube, troll 9GAG and cry over his lack of Facebook friends. After all that,he started blasting Asking Alexandria, another of his favourite bands, one he usually only listened to when he was burning with anger.

He fell back on his bed again, and stared at the ceiling. The song currently playing was so fuelled with anger and pain,it really spoke to him. He started to think about all the people at school he loathes, and began to imagine how peaceful his life would be if they were all DEAD.

His morbid thoughts were cut off by a loud knocking on his door.

"Who's there?" shouted Vergil over his music. The voice on the other side muttered something, but it was inaudible due to the volume of his music.

He sighed loudly and opened the door. "What do you w-" began Vergil,as he saw who it was on the other side,he quickly stopped himself. It was Rose. He blushed wildly, realising he was still only in his boxers and a vest. He didn't recall getting undressed, which worried him slightly more. Rose let out a small giggle at his red face, before running to him and hugging him tightly. She was still in her school uniform. Vergil couldn't deny that he didn't exactly have a problem with her hugging him and all;but, that was totally out of character.

"What's up with you?" asked Vergil, concerned.

"H-Haven't you heard?" murmured Rose.

"Heard what?" asked Vergil, now even more intrigued.

"About Shade" she uttered,grimly.
