I have a guess on why Tsubasa was the only one who got the Dark Power instead of others like Kyoya, Hikaru, etc.
Our mind is a battlefield. We have the free will to think good thoughts or always have negative thoughts. Negative thoughts can control how we are feeling. Even if everything is going great, one may still feel sad or worried by the thoughts they are thinking. Perhaps Tsubasa always worried/ had negative thoughts more than anyone else, therefore making only him get the dark power.
Does this make any sense?
