I walked down the street enjoying the fresh cool air and the quiet, well it's never really quiet in Gotham City, there were a lot of cars on the streets and people came my way every now and then but for Gotham's nights it was quiet.
After walking for a while, I noticed that 2 men had been following me for a while, so I tried to walk a little faster to see if they were really following me. I noticed just one was walking faster even faster than me. I heard his footsteps getting closer and closer to me, my heart beating harder and harder with each step as the guy got closer to me. Realizing his presence almost beside me, my heart almost stopped beating, I held my hand tight around my pepper spray ready in case he tries to attack me..........

"Hey!" I heard it loudly and very close to me. I kept my head straight >Don't turn around (y/n), don't put your head down (y/n), have your pepper spray ready, just walk purposefully forward (y/n)< I kept telling myself. The seconds feel like hours, images popping into my head of how he would attack me, but I quickly shook themout

Suddenly!

I saw him walk past me out of the corner of my eye! Yes he ran PAST me! My heart sank into my pants with relief and I exhaled deeply, letting all my stress out of me.
So the man ran past me to meet one of his friends who was ahead of me. I couldn't help but smile, my grip on my spray loosening, and I even stopped walking out of relief. I took a deep breath looking up at the moon and exhaled and took my first step forward or rather I tried.

Someone grabbed my arm.
I felt a face come closer and those lips almost touched my ear.
"Not so fast pretty girl!" My eyes widened, it was the other man walking behind me, the one slowing down as I speeded up. Was it all just a trick to lull me into safety!?
>If only I had gotten into the taxi!< flashed through my head. I looked ahead to the two friends, maybe they could help me. I tried to scream for help but the moment I opened my mouth I felt an ice cold hand cup my mouth.
"Ssshhh, little lamb, we don't want anyone to destroy our date!" my attacker whispered in my ear, his breath was warm and disgustingly damp and he stank of alcohol, I looked away with my eyes and I saw that the man was not much older than me but much stronger. His grin reached to both eyes but his face was that of a handsome young man with blond hair and ice blue eyes that almost glowed even in the dark. He had the face of a normal young man that easily blends into the crowd, he had no special features other than his eyes, he looked like anyone else.

I could feel the sweat running down my forehead. I looked ahead again to where the other two men were standing and they both looked our way, maybe they saw the panic in my eyes! Maybe they came to save me, I felt tears falling from my eyes. The two got closer and closer, but the blond boy, who was holding my arm with one hand and covering my mouth with the other, stayed very still, but why? If I were him I would be afraid of being beaten up by the other two

Before I could finish that thought, my attacker pushed me down a dark alley and the two men followed him. >Oh no! They belonged together, it was all a set game for them! These bags!!!!< I tried to get my pepper spray but the blonde was just too strong, when he saw me trying to get my spray he tightened his grip on my arm and I let a hooded scream out of my mouth.
"Yes, little lamb, scream, scream for help, no one is coming to save you anyway!"
"Haha, yes, who should come to save YOU? Batman?"
I heard the other say with a cap pulled low over his face.

"Hahaha, like he would take care of someone insignificant like you" said the third of the bunch, who had a hood down over his face.
