Skye Robertson - subject 13

24/03/2098

I woke up on the hard ground small stones and twigs were digging into to my arms and legs. An arm was wrapped around my waist restricting from standing. I turned around and came face to face with a sleeping Jasper, crap I thought it was 14. I lifted is arm careful not to wake him.

Once I was free of Jasper's grasp I walked up to 14 who was sitting on the grass picking at his nails.

"Hey."

"Hi," he replied he looked hurt. "So you and Jasper huh."

Oh crap.

"What do you mean Jasper and I?"

"Oh don't play dumb Skye,it's obvious you to have a thing going on.

"What! Are you kidding me I can't stand him."

"Yeah sure," sarcasm was clear in his voice "that explains why you were cuddling with him like you two were a married couple."

"Your unbelievable, why do you even care!"

He looked at me his eyes getting darker with rage.

"I don't."

He stalked of into the forest. I sighed

Looking at my pendent. I went off to find Colton. When I finally found him he was with Jasper's friend picking berries.

"Hi Colton."

"Hey Skye, Lacie and I were just about go get some water, want to come?"

I'm nodded and followed them into the forest.

"So you and Jasper?"

"There is nothing going on between us trust me I hate him."

"Ok so what about you and that other guy?"

"Who 14," I looked back at him. "No I don't like him," I lied.

"What about you and Jasper are you guys dating?"

"No!" She laughed "he's like my brother gross."

I laughed along with her we walked the rest of the laughed and talking mindlessly.

We finally arrived at a small quarry. There was a waterfall that streamed into a pool at the bottom of the quarry. The distance from the top to the bottom was large.

"We're going to have climb down," Colton said with a sigh.

"Are you going to need any help Skye," 14 said looking concerned

"Why would I need any help?"

"Your knee."

I had totally forgotten about the stitches in my knee. I hoisted up my pant leg and looked down at my knee. There was nothing the wound was completely gone.

"What do you mean it's gone?"

"The wound, its gone there's not even a scar."

"But how? That's impossible."

"Hey! Lovebirds hurry up we don't have time to waste," Lacie called.

The climb down was easy but long I was grateful when my feet hit the soft white sand.

We all took out our flasks that we had gotten when we first got to the compound. I've never been more grateful for them making us carry them around all the time.
