Chap 2

Caroline was a pretty girl and around the age of 15 years old, her family were quite wealthy and so they lived in a big house in north England. She had a brother who was older by 3 years and he tried to help her but not always in a good way, for instance when she was 13 he always told boys that she was evil and they couldn’t date her but that still happens now, well the last part does. To be fair, Caroline didn’t really mind about that because she didn’t really care for boys, in fact she hated almost all of them, in her eyes they were just groups of lazy, arrogant toe-rags. Even though her brother were warding away all the boys, she was still really popular and had lots of friends, some just like her but other drooling over the worst boys in the school.

She stopped her car as she saw 3 people looking lost

“Can I help you?” she asks

“Do you know where 26 Bridge lane is?” Asks the boy who looks the younger of the two, he looked only a couple years older than her. The 3 strangers were standing in a pool of sunlight and they seemed to look like they were from the sun, the girl was beautiful, Caroline wished she could look like her and the boy who spoke earlier was the most handsome boy she had ever seen.

“Yeah, I’m going there now, well I live in 24 with my family so I can take you” she says

“Are you sure, I mean we can walk and we don't want to bother you” Says the older man

“No problem, I insist you come with me, hop in” Caroline persists and they hop in the younger brother sitting next to her

“I’m Gaveel and this is my brother and sister, Michael and Lyra” said the boy now known as Gaveel

“Isn’t that the same name as the angel of peace?” Caroline inquiries

“Yes, how funny” he says

“And isn’t Michael also an archangel?”

“Yes” Michael says “Such a coincident” and he forces a laugh. They were acting very odd but Caroline chose not to say anything, she looked in the rear mirror to see the girl, she looked about her age

“Which school are you going to?” she asks again wondering if they thought she was being rude by asking too much

“Rilday” muttered the girl plainly

“Same, we’ll probably be in the same classes” Caroline tries to make conversation “In fact I’ll take you into school tomorrow”

“My brothers are also coming” Lyra said quietly

“No worries, I’ll bring them too” Caroline almost begged, maybe this way she could talk to a boy without her brother knowing “I’ll introduce you to my friends, but aren’t you a bit old to go to school?”

“I’m teaching” Said Michael politely

“What subject”

“English literature”

“Oh I heard there was a new English teacher, I’ll probably have you this term next”

“Yes, I do lots on myths”

“Cool, here we go 26 Bridge lane, please come in for a cup of tea” finishes Caroline

“We have to get in and unpack” Said Michael, this was a bit strange seeing as none of the had any bags but Caroline shrugged as they got out.
