Alycia's POV:

I drove by the park where I met the girl who makes me feel so special and loved. The same girl who left me without an explanation, just a text telling me she loves me but she had to leave then she just vanished.

It's been 2 years but the pain and anger I feel is still fresh. She was my everything and she told me I was hers but words can be said without really meaning it.

I arrived at my parents' house and there's so many cars here already. It's my mom's birthday and she invited everyone of her friends including mine and my brother's.

I knock on the door and was greeted by my dad.

"Hello honey, your mom's been waiting for you." My dad said giving me a hug. I kiss his cheek then we walk to where the party is in full swing.

"Alycia!" I heard someone yelled. I turn around and smile brightly when I saw my friends Maia and Marny running towards me.

"Late for your own mom's party." Marny said chuckling.

"Well you know me, I like arriving fashionably late." I said flipping my hair making the three of us laugh.

"Alycia, my baby!" I heard my mom yelled. I kiss her cheek and give her my gift. We talk for a few minutes until mom excuse herself to attend to other guest.

"Guys, I met a guy a week ago in a coffee shop. I spilled my coffee on his shirt, I thought he would be angry but he's really nice and he's so hot! We've been texting each other a lot." Marny said with a dreamy look in her eyes.

"You go girl but make sure he's boyfriend material." Maia said.

"I know, It's hard to find someone who's good and committed these days. You're lucky Rudy is one of them." Marny said talking about Maia's boyfriend.

"I'm lucky. What about you Leesh, how's that guy you talked about who's been sending you notes on set?" Maia asked teasingly. I rolled my eyes and scoff.

"He's creepy and I'm not looking for someone, relationships is not on my mind right now." I said.

"Does it have something to do with your ex? It's been two years Leesh, have you heard from her?" Maia asked curiously.

"No and I don't care about her. I just want to focus on my career." I said nonchalantly.

"I still think there's a valid reason for her disappearance. Do you think something happened? Is she still alive? I mean she's an agent after all." Marny said.

I thought about it before but her text told me that it was her intention to leave. I was devastated for almost a year wondering if she's okay.I tried calling her number multiple times but it's not active anymore. I was worried then but it turned into anger and hate. She doesn't have the decency to talk to me in person. Don't I deserve an explanation?!

"I don't know and I don't care. She chose to leave. Let's just not talk about her anymore." I said getting upset about the topic.

The party is still on going and everyone is enjoying it. I am hanging out with my family and friends when I heard a voice I never thought  I would hear ever again.

"Alycia." She said making me tense up.

I turn around and saw the person who left me brokenhearted. She's still the same gorgeous girl that I loved only there's some small scars on her arms and forehead.

"Can we talk?" She asked.

I just stare at her for a few minutes until my anger get the best of me.

"How dare you ask me to talk when you didn't do that before you disappear?!" I yelled attracting some audiences.
