The next day, February 15th. 

I entered the classroom, not expecting anything different out of the ordinary. I know today is my birthday, but there is only one person who I hope cares to remember.

That person is my boyfriend, Ayanokouji Kiyotaka.

We've been dating for a grand total of one day now when I told him how I felt yesterday on Valentine's Day.

Students file in as does Kiyotaka, whom I give a brief grin towards before I focus on Chabashira-sensei's lecture.

Kiyotaka...

I still call him Ayanokouji-kun because it's too embarrassing referring to him by his first name, but soon, that habit will need to change. I do not wish to end up in a relationship as superficial as Hirata-kun's and Karuizawa-san's; I mean, the two still refer to each other by their last name, despite having dated for months, so there's no way they're actually dating. People as disgustingly outgoing as them would have kissed by now, but they have never done such a thing. They're faking it for whatever reason, but I won't point that out. Whatever it is, it's nothing that concerns me.

Suddenly, in the middle of the lecture, the classroom door opens, and in walks the student who is capable of scaring everyone save for the stoic boy next to me that has captured my stone-cold heart.

It is nii-sama!

"Horikita-kun? What do you need?" Sensei says.

"Need? No. It's more like something I want," Manabu-nii pushes his glasses up the bridge of his nose.

A/N: Manabu x Sae? Jk lol... Or am I?

"Hey, isn't that the Student Council President? I just noticed his last name is Horikita! Could it be?" Sudou-kun is looking between me and nii-sama back and forth.

Did that idiot really make that connection just now? How long did it take him?

"Horikita-kun," Chabashira-sensei says. "While I do not mind your presence in my classroom, there is a lecture going on. I need to teach."

Nii-sama waves her off while he walks down the column in which I sit while staring me down, making me gulp nervously. "Nonsense. I am the Student Council President."

... He's so cool! That was basically his way of saying, "I do as I please." After all, the Student Council President's authority exceeds the teacher's in a lot of ways, so not even Chabashira-sensei would dare oppose him, nor would that troublemaker Ryuuen-kun, right?

Manabu-nii stops before me. "Suzune."

"N-Nii-sama?"

He reaches his palm out to my face, so instinctively, I close my eyes. For some reason, I thought he would beat me up like an older sibling would when dishing out a punishment on their younger sibling. I suppose he just commands that type of respect and fear.

Instead, I feel something touching my head.

Rub.

Rub.

Headpat.

Headpat.

"Happy birthday, Suzune."

My face feels a little warmer. I'm very happy!

Then, as soon as he came, nii-sama left.

I noticed how quiet it is as the whole class was watching us.
