Chapter 2 - Catroom of the Elite
"I spoke to soon." The light leaves Suzune's eyes.
Kiyotaka POV
Today is my first day of high school. I'm waiting near the back of the line to board the bus when I see something strange.
Behind me, there is a girl with long black hair. She is crouched down at eye level with a stray cat.
"Nya~"
All Horikita can do is close her eyes tight and hope this is all one bad dream.
"This is a nightmare. This has to be."
Ichinose giggles. "Don't worry, Horikita-san! I try to communicate with cats like that, too."
Meanwhile, in a different universe, Yukinoshita Yukino sneezes, earning an eyebrow raise from the 8man.
What? Is she trying to communicate with the cat?
As if sensing my stare, she turns her head towards me and glares at me, but I don't look away. "Forget what you saw just meow."
Just meow? Does she mean just now? Are those cat ears on her head real? Are catgirls finally a thing? Woah... Yay.
One again, the theater is sent into a fit of laughter at both the way Suzuneko talks and Ayanokouji's thoughts.
"Fucking hell- Ah~!" Ryuuen gasps and moans when Hiyori punches his ribs lightly.
"Bad boy!"
"S-Sorry."
Wait... Have I been living under a rock this whole time? I mean, I guess I have, quite literally, as a matter of fact.
"How are you able to joke to yourself about your horrible past?" Karuizatrash asks as luckily THIS IS HER ONLY DIALOGUE THIS CHAPTER.
Kiyo shrugs. "I have a dark sense of humor."
Lelouch/AllHailThe99th cackles, "HAHA! You and I will get along great, then."
"How so?"
"I accidentally ordered one of my half-sisters to murder thousands of Japanese civilians against her will."
'HOW DO YOU DO THAT ON ACCIDENT?!' Everyone thinks.
"How can I forget something so strange?"
"Mumumu!" She growls like a cat.

Ryuuen wheezes with laughter while everyone else fawns over how cute Horikitty looks.
Hiyori blushes. "I... I want to headpat you, Suzuneeee-ko. Suzuneko!"
