POV: Y/n!
It's been a few weeks since I started going to the daycare. Me and Sun have gotten really close! We always do crafts together and we always have lots of fun! I still don't really have many other friends at the daycare, but it doesn't really matter to me. I have Sunny, so at least I'm not by myself!
Mom said we needed to go to her work early today, so we left really early. The sun wasn't even out yet! When we got to the Pizza plex, I think that's what Mom said it was called, Mom took me to the daycare. I slid down the bright red slide and fell into the ball pit again. The daycare is quiet, I don't even hear Sun's bells ringing from anywhere. I walk forward, looking around, trying to see if anyone is there. So far, I haven't seen anyone. "Sunny?" I asked out loud, hoping he heard me. I realized the daycare was darker than usual, and I could barely see where I was going. I shivered; I never liked being in the dark. It always scared me.
I finally got out of the ball pit, and I went and sat down somewhere. If I can't see where I'm going, I might trip, fall, and get hurt. I sit in complete silence. I hear bells from a distance, slowly coming closer to me. I stand up, hoping it's Sun finally realizing I'm here. The bells are super close to me now, ringing slowly. I look in the direction they are coming from, hoping to see something if my eyes get used to the dark. I see what looks like Sun but doesn't have orange triangles around his head. Instead, I see him with one of those hats you would wear when going to bed. Looking closer at his face, I realize that the moon is all I see on him. This doesn't seem like Sun at all.
"U-um hi... what's your name?" I asked the mysterious person. They look at me, tilting their head slightly.
"My name is Moon. What's your name, dewdrop?" they ask calmly.
Moon looks at me, tilting his head to the other side. I've never heard anyone call someone dewdrop before. Sunny usually calls the kids in the daycare sunshine. "I'm Y/n... where's Sunny?" I asked, curious why he wasn't here yet.
"Oh, when the daycare is dark for either naptime or while the lights are off, me and Sun switch out, so he gets a break. He'll be back soon, whenever they switch the lights back on. Don't worry, you're safe with me, my little dewdrop." Moon says. He grabs my hand and leads me over to somewhere I haven't been before. The floor looks very soft, like a fuzzy blanket. There are glowing stars on the walls and some on the ceiling, and there are stacks of pillows and blankets in a corner. Moon lets go of my hand and grabs a pillow and blanket. He walks back over to me, sets the pillow on the floor, and spreads the blanket out. "You should try and get more sleep. It's still dark out. I'll stay here with you." Moon says. I nod and get settled in to try and sleep. I hear Moon singing softly as I fall asleep.
~Time Skip~
I'd been asleep for a while when the lights turned on, shining brightly. I sat upright, rubbing my eyes when I heard someone start talking to me. "Sunshine?" Sun asks, and I look at him. I think he was worried for some reason. He hugs me, asking, "Are you alright? Moon didn't hurt you, did he?", and I looked up at him confused. "No, Moon was actually really nice to me. He had me go back to sleep and stayed with me while I was asleep!" I say happily, finally waking up completely. "Good, I'm glad to hear that." Sun said I think calmer. After that me and Sunny just did crafts for the rest of the day, having fun.
(A/n: That's all for this chapter! If you have anything you want to see happen, let me know, and I'll make it happen! Anywho, hope you liked it!)

FanfictionWARNING: This is terrible. This was my first story and I had absolutely no plot whatsoever. I made everything up chapter by chapter, leading this to be inconsistent and just awful. Read if you want, but it's bad. I haven't seen that many of these...
