POV: Y/n!

I see my mom working on one of the animatronics, and I was watching her from far away. It was like I was standing in a dark corner, where no one else could see me. I watched as she carefully worked on an alligator, green with a yellow stomach. She was busy with her work, and I saw her press a button on a tablet hanging near the chair that the alligator was laying back in. The alligator sat upright and started slashing his sharp claws around, and I saw my mom step back and try to press another button on the tablet. "Can not access the file. Please, try again." I heard in a robotic voice over a speaker. I saw my mom's face for only a second, but I could tell she was terrified.

"Monty, come on, snap out of it!" She screamed, and the alligator, who I assume is called Monty, didn't listen. He continued slashing around, moving faster and faster. Monty jumped off the table and looked at my mom, who was trying to get as far away as possible. He walked closer to her, and I heard her scream as it all faded to black.

I sit upright and immediately scream. I gasp for air, trying to calm myself down. I feel a hand reach and gently touch my back, and then I feel myself being moved. "Starlight, are you okay?" I hear Moon speak calmly. I shake my head, still trying to catch my breath. Moon pulls me closer to him and started rubbing circles on my back. "It's alright, I'm here. Nothing can hurt you." He says. I slowly catch my breath and am able to speak.

"I-I seen... My mom working... and an a-animatronic hurt her. He was big and had sharp claws... I-it was scary..." I explain, still slightly scared. The dream felt too real... almost like I was just watching a camera recording of what happened. I feel Moon hold me tighter, and I feel a little safer. "Don't worry, my starlight, as long as I'm here nothing bad will happen. Everything will be alright" I hear him say softly, and then I hear him start singing quietly.

"Days seem sometimes as if they'll never end. The sun digs its heels to taunt you, but after sunlit days, one thing stays the same. Rises the moon... Days fade into a watercolor blur. Memories swim and haunt you, but look into the lake, shimmering like smoke, Rises the moon. Oh-oh, close your weary eyes. I promise you, soon the autumn comes to darken fading summer skies. Breathe, breathe, breathe..."

I hear Moon continue singing as I slowly drift to sleep.

POV: Moon!

The kid finally falls back asleep. The song felt right for the moment, and it always has seemed to calm, even me, which is rare. I quietly continue singing, eventually reaching the end of the song. The kid shouldn't wake up anymore tonight, but I'll still stay here, just in case. I wonder what Sun is thinking about doing to keep the kid entertained...

Hey Sun, whatcha planning for the kid? Gotta keep Y/n busy somehow...

Yeah, I was actually thinking about trying to invite the others to come and meet Y/n. I don't believe they have ever met any of the others, so that should help some, right?

Possibly... I'm not sure that the kid will be too fond of Monty after that dream though... Even though he may keep the aggression down, the kid knows. That would be terrifying to see anyways...

Yes, I know, but we both will be here if anything gets out of hand. Besides, he may still be under lockdown after the incident... They had him under supervision to try and find out what glitched for him to behave that way... Although we know why...

Yeah, you're right.

Me and Sun continue talking as the time slowly ticks by. Hopefully, things go well for the kid...

(A/n: Hi everyone! I'm actually really proud of this one! When naming this one I realized I have some chapters numbered wrong, so I'm fixing that now.Sorry if that confused anyone! Anywho, I hope you all enjoyed it!)
