Chapter 6: Freddy and the Gang!

POV: Y/n!

After Moon sang to me to help me fall back to sleep, I didn't have any more nightmares. I didn't have any dreams either, just darkness. I could still hear Moon singing to me for a while, eventually going to a soft hum. I never really got that; Mom was always too busy at night. She's always either been working late at night or she stayed up late taking time to herself. It's always just been me, her, and Apollo. From what I can remember at least.

I finally wake up from my dreamless sleep to see I'm lying on the floor alone. The lights are on, so I know that Sun should be the one roaming around. I stand up and walk towards the main area. The daycare is completely silent, no laughing and talking from other kids, and not even the jingling from Sun's shoes walking around.

"Sunny? Are you here?" I ask out loud, only to be responded with more silence. I sigh and sit down on some of the bright yellow plastic seats in the daycare. I look down only to see the pants I've been wearing for the past two days. They are covered in glitter from the crafts, and as I try to dust it off, I realize I even got glue on there, leaving the glitter stuck to them. I need new clothes. Letting my mind wander off, I realize that Apollo, my dog, was left completely home alone.

"Apollo!" I shouted out loud, standing up from the chair I was sitting in. I knew that even when me and mom were only going to be away from home for a day, she at least got a pet sitter to keep an eye on her.

"Who's Apollo, Sunshine?" I hear Sun ask behind me. He must have walked up behind me while I was distracted. I turned around to see him holding something in his hands. "I went to the store here before they opened and got you some new clothes. I realized that yours had stuff on them from the crafts yesterday!" He says happily. He walks over and hands me the clothes. He brought a yellow tee shirt with little yellow sun shapes on it, and some dark blue pants with small moons and stars on them. I smile and hug him.

"Thank you, Sunny!" I say and let him go. I look up at him and smile. "Apollo is me and my mom's doggy at home! I don't think she got anyone to watch over him while we are gone... I don't know how he's doing." Sun listens and nods, and then crouches down to my height and ruffles my hair.

"Don't worry! I'll have someone who works here make sure to go and keep an eye on him, okay? Now, hurry and get ready! I have a surprise for you!" Sun shouts happily. I nod and run to a room and get changed. The shirt and pants were a little too big, but it made them extra comfy! The shirt and pants were soft too, helping them be even comfier. I walked out of the room to see three other animatronics with Sunny. I've seen the three on the TV, so I luckily already know their names. One was a bear with a top hat and a bowtie, which I know as Freddy. Another is a wolf with grey fur and hair, with a green stripe in her hair; that's Roxanne. The last one is a chicken with her hair pulled up in a ponytail and a pink bow; that's Chica. There was one missing though; I can't remember who though. I walk up to Sunny and stand behind him, carefully looking at the others.

"Hello, Rockstar! I'm Freddy!" Freddy says, waving to me. He seemed nice. I look over at Roxane, and she turns her head to fully look at me. She nods and waves, saying "Hi there! I'm Roxane!". Finally, I turned to look at Chica. She had her hands on her hips, and she turned her head slightly. "Hi there, cutie! I'm Chica! It's nice to meetcha!" She says, and I giggle slightly. I feel Sun put his hand on my back gently, and I look up at him. "This is Y/n! They'll be here with me in the daycare for a little while. I thought it'd be good for you to meet them! They are so much fun once you get to know them!" Sunny says, and I smile big. I don't get compliments from others, for Sun to say that made me happy. Everyone seems so nice! I'm so glad to meet all of them!

POV: Freddy! (Another new one!!!)

Sun has taken in a new kid at the daycare. They seem sweet actually. Most of the kids that I see from the stage when we perform are usually not the greatest, being badly behaved. At least I know the kid is in really safe care, considering Sun is exceptionally good at taking care of everyone in the daycare. I look over at Chica and Roxy, to see them talking to each other. The two of them have always been close, always talking whenever we get the two together. I look down towards the kid again and see them slowly walking toward me. I get down to where we're at eye level, and they smile.

"I like your bowtie!" They exclaim, and I chuckle. "Thank you, Rockstar!" I ruffled their hair and then tapped their shoulder. "Tag, you're it!" Then ran. They ran after me, laughing. I went into one of the play forts and hid, but not somewhere they couldn't find me. "Freddy, where'd you go? Oh well, I'll find you eventually" they said and giggled. I see Sun slowly walk in the other side of the play fort and walk toward me. He got close to me and stood there for a minute. "Hey Freddy, guess what..." he whispered. I tilted my head and looked at him. "What?" I asked. He then reached out and touched me. "Tag, you're it" he said menacingly and ran away. I sighed and ran after him, as he scooped up Y/n and they both ran.

POV: Chica

Freddy and Y/n ended up running off quickly. Sun stood there with me and Roxy as we talked. "Did you hear me playing last night at the concert? I was simply great, wasn't I? I'm the best on the keyboard." Roxy states, and I nod along. She is great at playing the keyboard, although even if I tried telling her otherwise, she would just ignore me. Sun looks over his shoulder as the cutie runs up to him. "Sunny, you wanna play? We can team up on Freddy!" The kid plans and I laugh at the idea. Sun nods and says "Absolutely, but we have to be smart about this, okay? I'll go act like I'm not it, and you'll act like you can't find him. He just went into the play forts.". He and the kid ran away, and I looked over at Roxy. "You want to go watch this?" I ask, and she nods. We both go to another play fort and get high enough to where we'll be able to watch from afar. I watch their plan function perfectly and Freddy falls into their trap. Me and Roxy laugh as we see Sun and the kid run away in victory.
