Once again Tord was back in a dark, stone cellar. A faint pain still resided in his mouth from the previous session, and an inescapable heaviness clung to his limbs. He breathed harshly through his nose, pushing away the fog that hung over his mind as he booted up his mental defenses. A small part of him didn't want to get up, wanted to stay curled up on the unforgiving floor forever. Yet the feeling of eyes against his weak form made that small thought disappear entirely.

Swallowing the nausea that came with shifting, Tord managed to hoist himself up into a semi-sitting position. Oh…. His breathing ground to a halt when he laid eyes on the large glass panel embedded into the wall in front of him, three frightened figures behind it. Of all the things tord could have imagined, this was never one of them. To force his lovers to watch him get beaten…

"Welcome to the land of the living, Mr. Larsin." A monotone voice came from his right. He looked up to find Kay, another soldier who made it her personal goal to harm him for information. She was cold, colder than Tolly, and her empty oak eyes and never-changing frown offered no insight as to what could be going on inside her head. Every word they spoke was calculated, her gaze always analyzing. Truly, she was one of the worst soldiers he faced within these walls. Though, the number 1 spot was reserved for a special kind of monster.

"Black Leader thought it would be nice for some viewers, as a form of motivation. Isn't he so kind," they spoke as they walked up to him, their healed boots making soft clicks as they hit the floor. Tord didn't respond, simply watching her movements for any warning of an attack.

"Leave him alone!" Edd suddenly shouted, slamming his fist against the thick glass. His voice was muffled through the layers but caught their attention all the same. Kay's only response to the outburst was a raised eyebrow. Tord didn't dare look over, too afraid to see what trauma they'd be permanently scarred with. Kay reached out to weave her fingers in his knotted hair, giving a harsh tug before forcing him to look at his boyfriends. "Stop it! Stop it" Edd wailed, tears gathering in those wide cola-colored eyes.

"No…" They drawled, slowly tightening their grip on his hair. He hissed, blinking away tears that threatened to cloud his vision. "I won't. We have far too much to do today, after all."

"You fucking bitch! Do you get off taking advantage of helpless people, huh?" Tom spat bitterly.

"Such naughty words, Mr.Rosewell. Didn't your mother ever tell you to mind your language?" Her tone sounded almost playful, voice airy and teasing where it should be flat. Tord realized she was mocking him, for his place behind the glass meant there was nothing he could do but speak. "Perhaps i should teach you proper manners,"

"Don't du jævla tør, you hear!?" He barked, fixing her with cold silver eyes filled to the brim with rage. "He has nothing to do with this so don't you dare hurt him!" His worst fear in this place may be coming true. All he ever wanted was to protect his boyfriends, to make sure they were happy and safe. If he could he would have never left; If their lives didn't rely on it Tord would've never given up long nights of cuddling and sweet kisses. He would give anything to have them by his side while he fixed this broken system that trapped him here.

"Says the man who can hardly sit up. Why shouldn't I use them instead? Why I'm sure they'd be more than willing to save you the pain." She sneered.

"Tord, you've suffered so much. Please, you can't take much more," Edd begged, looking at Tord. It was jarring to have someone so ready to, quite literally, torture themselves just to keep him safe. It was sweet, but he could not accept this. There was a lot Tord could live with, but allowing harm to come to his lovers was not one.

"No," He said firmly, never taking his eyes off Kay. "I will never allow you to hurt so i don't have to," her lips twitched but stayed tilted down.
