Niall POV

She waved goodbye, heading into the hotel. Her light brown hair bouncing in the slow cool wind. I gripped the leather wheel as I began to drive back to my place. Lucy seemed like a genuine person, she didn’t treat me like I was famous. I liked that. I liked how she didn’t laugh at all my dumb jokes. I liked how she didn’t just act happy because I was there.I was thinking a lot on my way home from her hotel. Soon enough the dim lights of the van cascaded across the pale garage door. The mantle light in the front of the light enlightened the front porch as I walked up the shiny maple door. I took out my keys. I had gotten the irish flag printed on the house key. The paint glistened in the light. I slid the key into the bronze knob and turned it. I entered my house again and headed for the kitchen for some leftovers. I found a hamburger and began to eat just when Zayn walked in. I looked up at him just as he began to speak.

“Nice girl, huh?,” Zayn said opening up the fridge. He took out the orange juice and poured it into a pale blue cup.

“Yeah, I like her. She ‘s real nice,” I nodded my head as I took another bite of my food. He stopped mid drink and gave me a look. “No! Not like that ! I mean , I like because she doesn’t treat us like we are more important than she is,” He smiled and went back to his orange juice. I threw away my wrapper and got up to go to my room. I opened up the door slowly to see Liam smiling at his phone. I knocked on the slightly opened door. He looked up at me .

“Just texting Danielle,” He looked down at his phone again and laughed. He tapped the phone a couple times and then turned it off. He put it down on the pale brown table between our beds. “So how was the drive home?,” He asked , as he began straightening his side of the room.

“Quiet, short,” I replied , sitting on top of my comforter. I looked at Liam again.

“Disappointed, Huh?,” He replied, smiling. I tried to looked surprised but it didn’t work quite that well. Liam burst out laughing.

“I guess, I really wanted to talk with her more, but the trip was to short,” I added. I looked down at my shoes. “I made plans for tomorrow though,” He nodded,

“Good, ‘Night Niall,” He said turning off the light.

“Ya,” I replied, tucking myself in. I closed my eyes with the hopes that Lucy and I’s day tomorrow would be great.
