Lucy’s POV

I woke up to the sun shining warmly on my face. I looked to my clock as I outstretched my arms. 10 am. I checked my phone, I had missed two texts. One from Madeleine , the other from Niall. I decide to read Madeleine’s first

Madeleine: OMG where have you been?

Ah the usually Maddi, always wanting to strike up a conversation. I texted her back saying I was staying in London for a few more days. I then checked my other message.

Niall: When do you want the tour?

I smiled. Niall was so sweet. I texted him saying that in an hour would be good and he answered back almost instantly saying it would be perfect. This was going to be the best day ever! I took a quick shower and put on light makeup and then lightly curled my hair (Yes, I do have a portable curling iron). I put on a light blue crop-top and long bleached jeans and a pair of worn out blue converse. That took up about 45 minutes so I decide to go to the breakfast bar in the lobby of the hotel. I had grabbed a cinnamon roll and some orange juice. I love cinnamon rolls so much, especially when they pour the smooth frosting over it. Finally Niall had arrived in from of my hotel. I ran outside, my hand holding my phone into my pocket.

“Hey!,” I said, hopping into the shotgun of the van. His eyes were once more shielded by the same sunglasses. I had first met him in. I closed the door , sealing the cool air to the outside.

“Wow, you're peppy today. You must be really excited,” Niall exclaimed as he started up the car.I nodded as we began to travel farther down the road. “What do you want to see first?,” He asked. I thought about it.

“Big Ben please,” I replied, smiling as we headed towards the monument . The ride was silent. I looked at Niall, his face was blank, he seemed much more excited over text.

For the next 4 hours we visited every sight you could possibly see in London. I was really happy about the sightseeing trip. Niall was acting weird though. Every once in awhile he would look at me then start to say something. Then once I smiled, he would back out. I kept on wondering what he could have possibly been wanting to say. I tried dropping hints that I wanted to hang out on more of a formal-date-like outing, but Niall wasn’t getting it. Will he ever ask me out?
