"I'm pretty sure I'm worthless if I can't be a service!"

❄❄❄

Something strange has been going on lately; normally, Binaca would not feel any coolness on the kiss of snow or ice. But nowadays, whenever she connects with her power, she feels a tingle and a chill she hasn't felt in years.

Her fingertips have become frozen that day when she caused a commotion and her power became extremely violent. Her fingers appeared to be ice, chilly, fearsome, numb, and crystal. But it melts in the comfort of her family's affection, except for her Abuela, who was too harsh on her.

So she heeded the warning not to inform her mother, father, tia, tio, and cousins, particularly her Abuela, about her condition. Whenever her emotions went berserk, she would be frozen, turned into ice, and if it got worse, her entire body would freeze, turning her into a frozen statue.

What a terrible mistake a gift can be. Wouldn't let her feel her emotions; she's trapped in a frozen bubble that hides all of her thoughts and feelings. She must be cool and collected, free-spirited, and always happy, which no human can do. Even if she received a gift, she sees herself as a normal human with a curse rather than a blessing.

She sometimes feels ashamed for continuing to believe that the gift she received was a curse because Casita gave it to her. She has no idea why, of all things, she could obtain its frozen powers. Was it because she's too cold? prickly? useless?

What made her receive such a gift? She'd rather be ordinary, like Mirabel. Be able to express sentimentality, feel anything really warm too not just dull ache. The only warmth she can feel is compassion, which is why she is simply too touch starve.

She is desperate for people to love her, but she is afraid of hurting them.

She occasionally appears to think that being a statue would be preferable. Simply be lost. Melt in the sun and become the water of memories.

Isn't it too much to ask to let out her true emotions? be acknowledged? and be loved like any other girl?

Bianca creeps into the kitchen, attempting to find her mother cooking and offering her assistance. Her eyes wander just about anything, examining almost different areas for a sliver of hope to flee without being noticed.

Regrettably, the universe has other plans.

"Bianca?" Her older sister Luisa has noticed her while she's holding a vase in one hand. Bianca came to a halt as her voice was filled with longing. Luisa was frozen, her eyes wide, and she didn't notice her lips quivering slightly. She was overjoyed, shocked, and saddened to see her sister, who was always locked in her room.

Bianca laughs awkwardly and tends to give her older sister a socially awkward wave and ginger make eye contact. She hadn't predicted a meeting, and she was shuddering, or rather, she didn't know how to face her older sister, whom she hasn't seen in a long time.

"Hola Luisa.."

When she appears to be going out, Luisa isn't there; she's often continuing to work, offering to help, and doing a bunch of responsibilities, and the members of the house occasionally give her time to relax, and Bianca's always guilty because she can't help and bear the family's burden as well.

She thinks she's a heavy burden.

"Bianca! I miss you!" Luisa lets go of the giant vase, lifts her sister's feet off the ground, and swings her around, embracing her like she hasn't seen her in decades. Bianca's eyes bulge and her mouth drops open, but her face calms. Despite her hug, her baked hands did not touch her sister's back and remained stiff. She enjoys her warmth, and the hug relieved her of some of her guilt.

She closes her eyes and smiles; the picture of her big sister pursing her lips and frowning with no or little sniffs overheard is both adorable and dreadful.

Luisa widen her eyes and put her sister down, dusting off her dress. Bianca tilts her head and raises her eyebrows as she laughs awkwardly.

"Wow...sorry... Got a little carried away there," she says as she pats your shoulder. "You could try going out more, sis! You know I'll secure you and the people, so don't overthink it; just go out more and...well, relax," Luisa sighed at the end. Even she can't relax because she carries millions of burdens on her shoulders.

"Thank you, sis; it's just- you should take a break.." You sighed as well, stretching your interlocked hands across your back.

"Luisa, a little assistance here!"

"-Ouch! damn these heavily loaded barrels! Um, Luisa."

The voices started calling for her, causing her eyes to twitch slightly, but she smiled regardless. "Yep, I'm on it!" she yelled back, keeping her gaze fixed on her sister.

She puffed her chest and patted her sister's shoulder again. "I suppose we'll see each other later-"

Luisa nods at her and runs to the world of working again.

'She really needs a break.' You sighed and stared at her fading shadow.

A/N: Hello, I'm not dead yet. Sorry, it took this short update so long, but fortunately, my writer's block is over.

So I have some ideas and I just can't decide which one I'll make.

Should I make our mc run away like Elsa did in frozen or should I just stay in the normal setting?

Any suggestions?
