Spider walks to the rendezvous set by his new boss. He was told Angel would be his trainer. It’s been a few months since he first got here. Luke has been sleeping at his place and even helps with the shopping. Spider doesn’t realize he’s smiling until a familiar voice speaks up.
“Someone’s chipper, have a nice night?” A guy in a white hoodie and full-faced mask walks out of the shadows.
“Yeah, an old friend has been helping me out,” Spider smiles.
“Oh? This ‘friend’ sounds more like a date,” Angel grins, wrapping his arms around Spider, “Or are you trying to start a scandal~?”
“No scandal here,” Spider blushes, “He’s just a friend..”
Angel releases him and hands him a paper.
“Suure~ Well anyways. Here is our target. He hosts a party every Wednesday at 23:00,” Angel judges for a reaction, “Recognize him?”
“...No, never seen him,” Spider looks back up at Angel, “Do you?”
“A target is a target,” Angel grabs the paper and winks at Spider, “It doesn’t matter what I think about it.”
Spider tilts his head questioningly, but Angel avoids the conversation.
“Come on, we can take my bike,” Angel motions him over.
“What? Are we cycling two cities over?”
“No… do I look like I could do that?” Angel gives him a look.
“I mean…. Yeah, you do,” Spider rubs the back of his neck.
“Cute, but no,” Angel giggles, “I’m talking about a motorcycle.”
“Oh, right…” Spider chuckles, a bit embarrassed.
Angel grabs his hand and smiles.
“Come on!” He leads Spider to a secluded spot in an abandoned part of the park. There sits a silver motorcycle. It has a couple duffle bags strapped to it.
“Why a motorcycle? Won’t that attract attention?” Spider looks at Angel, who is currently grabbing a helmet.
“That’s the point! I draw the attention and the fire. You shoot,” Angel tosses one to him, “You can shoot. I’ve seen you do it.”
Spider puts on the helmet, unsure if he should question his partner. Angel starts the engine, and they begin towards their target.
After a few hours, Angel stops the bike about a mile away from the target’s house. He cuts the engine and removes the helmet. Spider hops off the bike.
“Hey, about what you said earlier… I didn’t show off any skills in our first meeting,” Spider speaks casually.
“And? Your point,” Angel doesn’t look at him.
“How do you know I can do any of this. Unless you were watching me?” Spider steps back from the bike as Angel gets off.
“I haven’t. Don’t flatter yourself~.” Angel shrugs the question off.
“Now that I’m thinking about it, you know a lot about me, as if I’m supposed to know you,” Spider approaches.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Angel steps back.
“You also pulled the strings that got me this job. Right in front of me,” Spider takes another step forward, “I must know you.”
“No. You don’t,” Angel glares.
“You’ve been watching me, haven’t you,” Spider gets a no from Angel, “Then how do you…”
“You won’t figure it out, Spider. For my sake, I’m glad,” Angel grabs one of the duffle bags, “Now get your stuff.”
Spider reaches to grab Angel’s mask. He finds himself being flipped onto the ground. Angel holds him down, fury blatant on his face.
“Never do that again. Understood?” Angel presses up against Spider’s crotch.
“Y-yes, sir,” He stutters as Angel presses more and more weight on him.
“Good boy,” Angel whispers and gets off of him and throws a duffle bag at him.
Spider catches it and stands.
“I will find out,” Spider follows Angel.
Angel hides his expression, but Spider can hear him chuckling.
