Chapter 13: The first school day

POV ~ Illya

As I opened the front door of my house I saw Miyu and Kuro standing next to each other in front of my house. They both wearing the school uniform with school bags.
'Right, it's Kuro's first official school day after "transferring"'
I greeted them.

"Good morning.", Miyu said friendly and walked to me.

"Morning!", Kuro said with a smile and cleared at me, "And you have no problem that your enemy is going to the same school for now on?" She faked a sad expression and came closer up to me. I stepped a step aside as she came closer to my face with a smile.

"Not if you cause no one trouble.", I said and looked strictly at her, "If you cause some I'll personal beat you up" Kuro stared at me like I had something in my face. Then she turned around and sighed.

"Oh my, I promised not to be a troublemaker for you.", she said disappointed and closed one eye, "I little bit of trust won't hurt."

I rolled my eyes and went to her, to touch her shoulder so she would turn around. And so she did.

"I'm not trusting you 100% but I guess I could afford some to trust you at the beginning.", I said and looked away as I noticed that Kuro was speechless looking at me. I flustered. "It's not that I would like you or anything.", I mumbled, "I just want to give you a chance. That's all!"

"Illya...", Kuro whispered my Name and lends close to my face that our noses nearly touched. I feel how it's got kinda hotter than befor.
'Changed the weather or is it just me?'
I totally spaced out as Kuro gently touched my chin with her finger to lift it up.

"W-what?", I stumbled. Kuro smirked at me.

"You're such a tsundere, you know that?", she stepped away from me and started laughing.
'HUH?!?!'

"Wait what?! A tsundere? Me?!", I shouted irritated at her, than looked at Miyu, "Do you think I am a tsundere?" Miyu looked kinda shy at me, not dare to make direct eye contact.

"I-I think it's a cute side of you, Illya.", she mumbled and blushed.

"C-Cute?!", I stumbled, trying not to blush as much as Miyu. Kuro who stopped to laugh jumped to us.

"Come on guys!", she shouted happily, "Stop flirting. Let's go to school!" She started to lead the way and we followed her in embarrassment. I walked next to Miyu and Kuro walked in front of us, hummed smiling a melody. I wachted her steps.
'I can't just believe that we fought last time over our lives and now we are going together to school.'

As we arrived school Kuro stopped and looked with a smile at the building. Miyu and I glared over our shoulder as we walked pass her.

"What's up with the dump smile?", I asked as I looked at her amazed expression, "You were here before. It's not like it's your first day coming here." Kuro ignored the fact, that I made fun of her and chased up to the two of us.

"Well, it is my first day here." She said and made a twirl so that she stopped right in front of us. "It's my first day as a normal student on this school.", she lifted up a finger and poke on my head. "But I guess even you should get that already." She stuck out her tongue at me and started running in the school building before I could angrily throw something at her.
'That little...'
I signed. I looked up as I felt Miyu's gaze on me.

"Do you still think is okay for Kuro to be on our school?", Miyu asked, not sure how herself felt about that. I thought about her question while we entered the building.
'To be honest I'm not sure about it myself. But I know that she wouldn't be satisfied with this answer.'
