Slowly lifting myself off the couch I started waddling towards the kitchen . Instantly putting my right hand on my lower back once the pain started to shoot up my back. I'm so tired of being pregnant already my body hurts constantly and my feet are always swollen. I'm always hungry I mean I been a hungry bitch but now I'm giving precious when she stole that chicken. Opening the fridge my eyes instantly went to the spaghetti in the pan that I made last night for Keon and I to eat. Taking it out setting it on the counter I went to the cabinet I store my plates in but of course one of them dumb boys moved them to high up so I couldn't reach them.
"KEON DASHAWN!" I yelled loud of enough for that boy to hear
" Yes babygirl?" Keon said walking in the kitchen fixing his Pooh shisty mask taking off his mouth
" Okay one ghetto baby you not wearing that to the appointment" I said straight facing him he always try and be extra some how " and two can you please grab those plates I can't reach them" I asked then moving to the side
Taking a deep breath he snatched his mask off then side eyed me but still did what I asked. Handing me a plate before rearranging the cabinets for me
" please don't make knock you the fuck out Kj for real i don't know what the fuck your problem is but don't start with me" I said fixing my plate putting it in the microwave
"Ain't shit wrong you reading into this to hard, what time you wanna leave and don't forget we gotta see my dukes after we leave the appointment." He said leaning on the counter. he never lets my words effect him , what a king.
"We can leave after I eat" I said eating my food
" are you sure you don't wanna know the gender of the baby?" He said lifting his eyebrow rubbing my stomach making the baby kick
" stop it that hurts and yes I'm sure I don't wanna know" I said swatting his hand away
" I'm just saying what If you decide if the baby is his that you wanna keep the baby and not go through with the adoption."
" Keon okay we can find out but that's all we doing until I can get a dna test done. Now leave me alone so I can eat" I said taking a seat at the island. Ke left out not before shaking head at me but idc I wish he would just stop pressing the subject
" okay so you ready to see the baby?" Dr.Nova asked us all happy she was just excited for the fact I said I changed my mind on not knowing the gender
" yes we are." Keon said smiling
But me? I was just sitting there ready to go and see Ms.Melissa. Dr.nova started to put the gel on my stomach and once she got a good view of the baby she gasped looking at us crazy
" What? what's wrong?" Keon said quickly grabbing my hand making me look at our hands.
" Well apparently you guys are having twins!! Baby A was hiding baby B very good but since you're getting close to your third trimester he's growing bigger and see it looks like baby A is a baby boy andddddd babyB Is a girl" Dr.nova said wiping the gel off then handing me the ultrasound pictures
Keon and I said nothing we were too stunned to speak. Now it makes sense why my stomach is extra big. I always thought I was too big for one baby.
"Well I'm going to let you guys process this then I'm going to be back with your vitamins." Giving is a tight lipped smile the doctor walked out closing the door behind her
"You-You're having twins .... Two kids... can you believe it" Keon said backing up to sit in the chair behind him He looked at me then rubbed his hands down his face
" This is All too much alot goin on right now" I said shaking my head holding back tears
"Okay I know you tired of hearing this but I really think if you keep them no matter what the test says..."
Snapping my neck towards him " Why? Why are you so pressed to have kids by me? We not even together we are friends Keon thats it. Out of respect for you I agreed to keep them if they are yours after that it's a no. It was no fifteen minutes ago and it's no now. Drop it." I said trying to slide off to my feet. Keon said nothing he just helped me down before grabbing the ultrasounds and walking out a head of me.
