Laying in Kacy's bed with my back against her headboard as she laid on her back with her big pillow with arms that held her up at a comfortable angle. As I rubbed her swollen feet she was working on her website for her store. She felt like she was neglecting her website since her store was booming but I had to remind her she had customers in different states and cities not just Detroit. She was ordering more clothes for her store and website once she finished that I had to help her pack the few orders she had to ship out. While she was doing that I was watching 85 south show. But after a while I felt Kacy staring at me, without breaking eye contact with the tv I questioned her.
" Yes lil bit why you staring a whole in my face?" I spoke before switching to her right foot
" Why do you tell people at the hospital I'm your girlfriend instead of just friends?" She said closing her laptop
" Cause saying babymoms is rude and girlfriend makes them move faster. If it's a problem I'll stop" I said searching for a new episode to watch since that one went off
" It's not a problem I was just wondering.." she said fiddling with her fingers again indicating she was nervous
" What is it? Why are you nervous?" I said pausing the show then looking at her before she looked at everything but me " Noelle look at me you know you can tell me anything"
" Well your mom was telling me how much she liked me and stuff like that and then she brought up your ex and the way she was talking she made shorty seem like the devils spawn." She said holding eye contact flipping her hair off her shoulder
" What did she tell you?" I asked her lifting my left eyebrow. My momma love her running her mouth nobody told her to tell Kacy anything about her
" She didn't get to tell me anything because that's when you and Essence came in" she said opening her laptop back up
" I don't wanna talk about that right now so we can visit this another day" I said cutting the conversation short now annoyed
" I'm sorry I didn't mean to upset you I just-" I cut her off
" It's cool I'm finna go take a nap before I gotta go handle some business" I said getting out the bed then grabbing my phone off her nightstand
" Why won't you just take a nap in here like always ?" She said looking at me like three heads
" I'm good I'll make you something for dinner before I leave " I walked out her room then closing her door
