"Now Ms.Melissa you know you can't be getting up by yourself let me help you" I spoke seeing her struggle to get up so I tried to get out of my chair but I was having a hard time
"How in the hell are you goin to help me when you can get up your damn self" Ms.Melissa said laughing at me Making me huff and moan cause it hurts a little to move the way I was
" I wish y'all would stop talking about me" I said pouting once I gave up on getting up
" It's okay girl you carrying my grand babies " she said with a bright smile. She is always in good spirits she never has a frown on her face I see why Keon didn't want to tell her
" Sooo how you thought of any names ??" She said pressing her nurses button so she can get help
" Eh no actually." I replied fiddling with my fingers
" it's okay you got time aren't you seven months?" Once she said that she nurse appeared in the doorway
" Yes tomorrow but I have an appointment today "
" Hi Melissa you okay what's wrong?" The nurse came in checking her vitals and things
" Yes I'm fine I just really have to go to the bathroom and my daughter can't help since she's carrying my grand children" she spoke so highly of me she made me feel loved by a mother.
My mom is still very much alive but I couldn't tell. She's never around and never calls. Once I moved in with Keon last year she has fell off the face of the earth. Last time I seen her was when I was in the hospital for after my attack. She was my nurse but that was it once I went home she went back to work comes before anything. It was a breath of fresh air to have Ms.Melissa around me and it breaks my heart that she's dying. I just pray that she gets a chance to hold my kids before she passes. I know Keon wants that more then anything in the world. If he can't keep his momma alive he at least wants her to see her first grandchildren.
" Baby why are you crying??" I looked up seeing the nurse help her back in the bed. I wipe my eyes and sure enough I was crying these stupid hormones got me all over the place.
" I'm fine ma'am just thinking"
"When do you plan on being my son's girlfriend huh?" She said flipping through the channels landing on the price is right
