Angels, demons, Lilith and the 66 seals.
Ever since the intervention of rescuing the eldest Winchester from Hell and bringing him back to life, the angels explain that they've arrived on Earth for the first time in two decades in order to prevent th...
Madelyn sat on the bed, her back resting against the pillows that were positioned up against the headboard, her feet placed firmly on the soft mattress as her legs were propped up, serving as a make-shift desk for the book that she was currently reading.
The door to the room opened, grabbing her attention where she saw a solemn looking Sam enter the room quietly.
"Hey.." She greeted, her voice soft and full of concern for her best friend as she set the book aside on the bed. "You're back?"
"Yeah.." Sam answered softly.
"Did you burn the bones?" The blonde asked, a frown gracing her features.
The shaggy haired male nodded silently in response.
Without hesitation, Madelyn got up from the bed and crossed the room towards the tall hunter, pulling him into a comforting and loving embrace - one which he gratefully accepted as he held onto her.
"I'm sorry, Sammy.." She whispered into his ear as she comforted him. "I know he was your friend."
The hunter remained silent and buried his face into the Nephilim huntress' neck as she rubbed his back, breathing in the jasmine and vanilla scent that he had come to love on her as he relaxed under her gentle touch.
Her fingers played with the dark locks at the nape of his neck, her nails lightly scratching the skin at the base of his skull, further comforting him in her embrace.
"Talk to me.." She pressed gently.
He remained silent for a brief moment, burying his face further into her neck before he pulled away slightly, staring down into her concerned blue eyes.
"Being back at the school.." He began and shook his head lightly. "It's bringing back memories."
A frown settled across the blonde's features. "Barry?.." She quizzed softly, earning a nod in response from the shaggy haired male. "He was your friend.. I know this was a tough job to do. I can't apologise enough.."
"It's okay." Sam replied with a small smile. "It's not your fault."
Madelyn's frown deepened slightly. "What can I do to make you feel better?" She asked.
Hazel eyes met concerned blue once more.
"Cuddle?" He asked softly.
A soft smile graced the blonde's lips as she nodded her head. "I'd love that." She replied.
She grasped his hand gently into hers and led him over towards the bed, where she lied down and Sam along with her.
Madelyn wrapped her arms around Sam as he wrapped his own arm around her, moving himself closer as he placed his head on her chest, listening to the soft, calming drum of her heart while her nimble fingers ran through his dark locks.
Ever since their kiss at the barn a few weeks back, the two had grown extremely closer than they were before, had much more of those moments together - to the point where it would start heating up - to just the simplest of things such as cuddling together.
The two had never really put a label on what they were, nor have they spoken about it yet but what they did know was that they really didn't want it to end.

"We came back here so you could talk to a teacher?" Dean asked as he pulled up to the school the following day.
"He's a good guy." Sam said from the backseat, seated beside Madelyn, who squeezed his hand gently.
"Well, whatever." Dean sighed as he shut of the engine, silencing the purr from the Impala. "Go have your Robin William 'O captain! My captain!' moment. Just make it quick."
As soon as the words left his mouth, he was met with a harsh but gentle elbow to the ribs making him grunt in pain before he shifted his gaze to the blonde in the seat next to him.
"Cami.." He whined, rubbing the area that she had nudged him in with a small pout.
"Thanks, Cam." Sam said appreciatively to the eldest huntress before he rolled his eyes at his brother as he got out of the car.
As soon as the door closed and Sam had entered through the doors to the school, Madelyn leaned forward in her seat and smacked the eldest hunter upside his head.
"Ow! Hey!" Dean exclaimed, turning in his seat to glare at the young blonde as he rubbed the back of his head.
The young huntress met his verdant green gaze and rose her eyebrows in a challenging manner, silencing any further comment that Dean wanted to make.
